so its offical, the worst kept karoonda secret for the last couple of months is that ben quinn is coaching karoonda.im not a big smelt fan personally but what he has done out there,i take me hat off to him,top job an ben has big shoes to fill,he will soon find out how many would be coaches are out there.so it will be interesting who comes with ben as he is not the most liked guy at mannum at the minute.so is there any other coaching changes in the mallee, will walker stay if he cant play anymore & has butler comfirmed he is stayin?

Could the same be said for a couple of other sides?
Murrayville got plenty of bang for their bucks, Karoonda a great effort to stick with it for 3 quarters in the prelim, and Peake a significant improver with a heartbreaking finish (i hear their budget has been halved for next year...will they be able to afford to keep everyone).

yes he is a mail medallist, if he has left the roos it will be a shame as he is a much loved player down here, not sure who is upset with him from mannum though, i'm certainly not, but if he takes some of our better players i might be a bit disgruntled with him.

Gun. Very unorthodox. Looks like a Sunday fisherman. Plays like Travis cloke.

Will be interesting.
He's had a crack at a few Riverland jobs over the years, hasn't he?

Losing Hand would hurt, 80 goals gone plus Carey - any incoming?
An exodus at Magpie land - players following one of this years recruits down South
Mixed reception about the Pinnaroo coach?

Anything else about the place? The Mallee grapevine has gone quiet
