Shaun did play with Broadview one year and Leal would know him, just sumizing here

Broadies wouldn't pay him enough coin.
Now that is just plain dumb, don't you think?

Good to hear! Shows that these lads have got the right characters not to jump ship for a treasure chest. I wish them well for the upcoming season and look forward to seeing what the 'Dawe Stop' can come up with to counter their influence.

Big let down for Kilburn, I would expect another big signing from their camp with a hefty provision now left in their salary budget.

More important than their work with the Panthers will be how competitive they make the mighty Irish Australians Gaelic Footy club!!!

Gilligan - You may be a man in the know, do you have any inside knowledge on what to expect from these two players?
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

Stirlo, you dont read the post enough, I UNDERSTAND KILBURN stopped negotiations
I still think it will be doubtful they will play for Willaston, but then again they are throwing the big bucks to them
Tell me Stirlo, would Gawler Centrals clear Burford to Willaston ??????

Yeah but you're wrong mate, Kilburn got their offer rejected.

It would be good to see some of the gawler centrals boys turn down massive coin to stay at the tigers.

No Burford wouldn't be traded unless suitable compensation was provided, perhaps a 6'8 player with local status might be fair.

Why would Kilburn offer everything including the kitchen sink then decline the offer ?

The rumour coming from those close to the two brothers is, they were never contemplating leaving Willaston but wanted to go through the process to see just how far Kilburn would go to lure them to Prospect Rd.

I suspect Kilburn got wind of this and walked away.
What i dont know about football isnt worth knowing .

Either Kilburn just can't handle the rejection or have acted very unprofessionally. So much for knowing everything about recruitment.
I am glad to see some of the local talent remain in the competition anyway, lets hope the tiger boys follow suit.

I'd like to see Dawe be honored with that, but i think that Nelson and Lubke would have to be the front runners given they are the only 2 surving coaches from 2008 with exception of prouse who swapped seats.

Stirlo I mostly just read what is posted but I have to say from your posts you obviously have a couple agendas with clubs/coaches. You know stuff all about Kilburn and Amateur league so I suggest you talk about your underperforming club and explain why you don't support it like most of us support our clubs. Until you know the facts on recruitment including the Baker boys put a sock in it.

Nearly Was,

I will answer this one.

The only agendas that i've formed are with the twits on this board who think they know more than everyone else, its just a coincidence that they all seem to come from the same clubs.

I know the baker case well and know that my intel is good, so please keep your skirt on and get back to talking footy rather than these petty insults.

Have heard the name Dawes before in SANFL but got no clue who this Robbo / Robinson is so will have to wait until next season starts and I can watch them at Angaston before I can say how they might go

My guess
1 Tanunda
2 Barossa
3 South
4 Gawler Centrals
5 Angaston
6 Nuri
7 Kapunda
8 Freeling
9 Willaston
Of course this is all a big guess at this time of year as until you know who clubs have finally recruited / retained which you won't know until March at best you have no real idea how they will go .it has been the same for the last 40 years in Barossa footy
