Arnold was pretty closely checked all day, played up the ground in parts, just didn't look like he got into the game. The delivery to him wasn't great either.

Good on ya Lloydy.
Best Independent player living in the Riverland!!

Well done Brad too. Can you do the double this weekend?

I believe that was one S. Renfrey who bought the guernsey.

Interesting photos have emerged after Loxton North's game on Sunday back at the club.

Was a good effort by Horsell - a huge number of BOGs.

Well done to Lloydy too. A champion bloke.

As for Renno buying that guernsey, mining must be good!

i thought alot of the votes were way off the mark this year. games we got torn up by 1 person and they didnt get a vote. horsell had a very strong 2nd half of the year according to the votes, lloyd had a real crack too which was good to see.
i thought the speration of the counts was a success as far as the indys are concerned, i had fun and the turn up was great. if i had 1 criticism it would be that one half of the comp was way over 1 side of the room, the other half was on the other half of the room making socializing a bit tougher than inpast years (IMO). not much you could do about it though i dont think. feed was great too.

i reckon reno might wake up in the next half an hour next to a geurnsey and say WTF is this and where is my 400 clams?!

Good feed. Good crowd - was great to get the kids there.
It was a night that represents what Independent footy is all about. Blokes who love their footy and enjoy socialising but don't take it too seriously.

Crushy, would it be one particular umpire whose votes were out?

28 pretty close!!
I wont go on and say too many "i told you so's" because i was VERY wrong about Andy Lloyd. Always rated him and thought he got a rough deal from the umps. Well done Andrew its about time you were noticed.

Did anyone notice that players who traditionally backchat umps didnt get a look in?

IMO umps shouldnt be picking these awards, opposition coaches should.
Who knows better than them who carved them up.

If a coach has a gun forward and he is held to one goal, how often do umps notice this?
But the coach knows how well the fullback played on his star forward and recognizes his efforts in the votes.

Well done Bradman.
Well deserved.

Cmon
The winner will win on bout 18-20
31 votes would be unheard of in 14 games

Cannot include this as the Umpires are Club umpires and the home team umpire gets to pick the Best on the day!
