Lootsy and Kilsby did have a great onfield rivalry! I believe that Kilsby was not at all up for any kind of striking charge. But the issue between the two was settled over a beer between the two of them. While they were being adult about the situation the a league representative and the presidents of the two clubs in question argued and discussed the isse but to no avail but the two lads came to there own conclusion to this issue. Which was what ever was said was not acceptable but the apology was sufficient and it wont happen again.

Aparently racial vilification cases are more prevelant than you think and most are sorted in a similar way "mediation". Its more about the offending player taking responsibility and knowing that you cant say things to that extent on or off the field.

That is directly from one of the sources kids!

Panther i love seeing what i would say! I was too lazy to get the fixture but here it is.
ROUND 13 JULY 19TH
MYPONGA/SELLICKS V MT COMPASS
VICTOR HARBOR V LANGHORNE CK
YANKALILLA V ENCOUNTER BAY
SAINTS V STRATHALBYN
WILLUNGA V MCLAREN SUN 20TH

Compass to beat Myponga, fairly easily i would imagine only thing that will prevent a demolition is the weather, this will play into pongys hands a little more as they are traditionally mudders.
Creeks to beat Victor, tough one to pick, basically chose the creek on reputation but there form has been down. Against a quality opposition they will need to stand up and stay in the hunt for the double chance. Victor need the win to keep ahead of the bays, to close to call!
Bays to beat Yank, Bays building towards a late tilt at the finals series and need to beat yank comfortably for the confidence.
Strath to beat Saints, Saints will be pumped after the win last week but Strath too much class for the Saints.
Willunga to beat Mclaren, past players day at Willunga this Sunday and the 1998, 1988 premiership reunions. Will be a big day for all.

Holy shit boys, BJ hasn't made one of his usual political comments about it being a hard game...He knows with the reunion and the fact that the Demons HATE McLaren that the Demons will be pumped for this game and will absolutely demolish the Eagles...somebody get the body bags!!!

I was just having a look at all the ladders on the GSFL site, all grades are very interesting to say the least. The A grade ladder is very close for that 5th spot with only one game the difference between Victor and Bays and very little %.
The B grade is more one sided than the A grade have a look at the % Willunga have!!
The Senior colts is too close to even think about trying to call!
And Junior colts looks like we could see a Mclaren Vs Victor Gf but its good to see that Yank may have a side in the finals.

Interesting fact, if we were to be heading into finals this week all clubs but Myponga would have a side playing finals.

I'm not close to the scene, but i think Simmo at LC coaches on a year to year basis, although i'm sure someone may know more details than me.

Why do you ask Cyclops?

I wouldnt know there coaching contract situations but i imagine Barry Pilmore is signed at Willunga until 2023 when he finally gives up senior coaching and hands the reigns over to the great man Wes Glass!

I beleive the exact wording of Baz's contract with Willunga is "till death do us part"

I heard it was BJ that drafted the terms and conditions, so as to make it fair and equitable for all concerned.

I have a feeling though he will neither confirm nor deny this.

All i can say ZC is that Willunga and Barry Pilmore are dedicated in heading towards the same goals, both on and off the field with a view to promote the juniors through the system whilst complimenting these young guns with some senior players that can show leadership and set an example.

Willunga and Barry Pilmore, United they stand!

this will come out in the wash at the end of the year after willunga win the grand final by 100 points but i did hear a whisper from a board member of a certain sanfl club that big bad bazza may be heading a few minutes down the road from you blokes for a bit of a challenge in 2009

And leave the A grade in the hands of BJ for 09!!
A blind man could coach that A grade squad to another flag with its current list.

Each year the coaching position is reviewed by the committee. Ive said it about players and i believe it to be the same with coaches, why commit to more than 1 year at a time as our situations change so easily and peoples plans change.

Which SANFL club is looking at Barry Cuzzy? Ive heard nothing of this (not suggesting i hear everything or know everything) but they would be silly to not pose the question to him to see what his thoughts would be.

i tried to be smug about it and write only a couple of mins down the road from you blokes. But i think you will find south will look at him plus one other coach in the GSFL plus another one from the SFL. These are just rumours but if south were to get there men it would be a pretty handy coaching panel with alot of experience.

And just before everyone cracks the jokes which i know you will, No it is not bassani from encounter bay.
