a. Coach doesnt want to pay at the gate
b. They bring there own beer and eskies
c. Not one has a drink at the nairne clubrooms after the game

Must be a different culture down that way...

dont think they were bad losers on saturday... all players and supporters know how well nairne played and deserved to win and i dont think they would deliberatly disrespect nairne and not stick around because they were bad sports

1. the coach comes from the amateur div where you dont need to pay to enter but regardless should pull his head in and must pay at the gate.. no one is exempt.

2. the esky had cans of red bull in it as the b grade coach works for them and brings it every week. most boys who had a few beers got them from the bar i believe. and the kangy b grade boys did have a few beers with some nairne b graders on the hill during the a grade

3. back in the days in the southern league it wasnt common place to stick around and have a few beers with the other team like it is in hills footy and that may have stuck around with a few guys whove come into the hills comp. most weeks kangy boys do try to stick around and have a drink. however there was a club function on saturday night so alot of people left the game just after it finished.

I dont know if theres a different culture but certainly with a lots of new players to the club in the a grade there a plenty of guys learning the country football culture and im sure this will be passed onto them.

well said Dentist, good to try and clarify a few things. Coach definately needs to pull his head in if thats the attitude he has.

Kangarilla definately need to get a few blokes back into the rooms after a game, as do many other clubs around the league, it seems to be a pratice that is disappearing and that is not what country footy is about. Should be all club rules that every player goes into the opposition clubrooms for at least one drink.

The club seems to be slipping how long until theres a change at the top NOT paying at the gate is disrespectful doesnt matter where you come from A grade coaches need to set the example for all to follow

What happened to the Gums Juggernaut, heard they were second favourite for the flag earlier in the season? Mick ashby left in a pocket for a quarter while the team get smashed...is that good coaching?
Players trying to leave before the cut off, slagging off at each other during the game...where is the team morale?

Can anyone help me?
Where do I have to go tomorrow to get to the Sedan/Cambrai home game?
I have been told I need to be there (where?) by 12.00 so how long will it take me to get there (after work) from Echunga?

The official fixture sheet does not give me the info, and the new site is not as good as the old one in this regard!

Cambrai. Follow the signs to get there. Right at Mt Pleasant, down the hill then left, about 7km and it's the first right at the pub, the road nearly turns back on itself just keep the pub on the passenger side and follow that road for 150 mt or so.

Maybe 20 minutes. Also the signs say either Sedan or Swan Reach, just keep following them as you have to go through Cambrai to get to them.

Always thought I was on holidays going through Cambrai.
Now I have spent some time there with their footy people it was great!
Should have spent more time with them, but always other priorities!
Thanks Sedan/Cambrai for you hospitality and your spirit for AFL.
I am sure with your proposed direction and also the difficulty that occurred this year you will become competitive in time with your plans.
However, I will be interested in the Dentist’s view after his travel from Kangy (after Beach night tonight I am not the one wearing the wetsuit), they are that much further with travel and with kids/seniors playing?

Hopefully Callington's Jarrod Byrne is okay after yesterday's unfortunate incident that resulted in the game being abandoned against Macclesfield.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...
