DA
You're saying I don't offer anything footy related.
Are you kidding or what??????????

Maccy does have a trial tomorrow against Adelaide Uni at Maccy but of course it's a mixture of players throughout Uni's grades, not their A1 side
Apparently the word out of Echunga at the moment is that they don't look too flash at all. I suppose that their saving grace might be that Bawden's recruits are still to come and they've been training elsewhere.

Don't take me out of context ORDB. I clearly referred to the above post where you had a go at some of our conversation, but offered nothing related to hills footy as you so clearly demand we do.

I'm happy to acknowledge that you provide very useful and interesting information about the happenings of many country sides which is appreciated.

I also acknowledge we get off track and talk rubbish. But hey it's good fun and there aren't any rules against some friendly banter between mates and between clubs.

However, what I suggest you do, is if you are going to put a post up criticising us like you did, add something hills footy related to the end of it so you don't sound hypocritical.

I'm out for now. Bored of some of this rubbish. The banter was fun while it lasted. Enjoy yourselves!

I have heard Echunga are struggling BIG time to get numbers out on the track for one side, let alone a "B" grade. Is there any more news on how Gumeracha are going with numbers? Wasn't there talk earlier on the forum that Callington may be struggling for numbers as well? (I maybe wrong)There may be some very one sided scorelines this year in country with the likes of Kangarilla, Torrens Valley, Meadows and Kersbrook coming up against struggling clubs. Not very good for all clubs and not very good for Hills footy. :(

dont get stuck into tex to much he might do what he did after they played hahndorf in courier cup final  ...

My prediction Bernie for top 5 aretop three will be Blackwood Lofty Uraidla its more even in the top three this year i rckon, then onkas hahndorf Mt Barker Lobethal bridgwater and then Ironbank.

BCC will you be getting a game in the As this year with Piccadilly panther down at the double blues and you not having the core group of mates anymore at stratco park will you consider lofty? Hahndorf? Sturt 19s? or even quitting??

Bobby Davis is looking at a birth in the hahndorf As, hes been telling us this since he was 12 though.

are hahndorf As an Bs that are playing Kersbrook or are the 14s and 17s playing aswell, i mighthave a look if so.

Also heard Sam Miles has a 4.5/10 chance of returning to devil dome, he is also a 4.5/10 chance to go to Plympton FC also. could inside 50 please clarrify this.

Some things have already been said, but I think it centres around cricket Tarque and Rohan Reid played association/country together Tarque and Hunsie played association and this year Glenelg, Hunsie played association/Counrty with Rohan this year.
Tarqure and Morry are good mates.
Also as TWE says I think IB are better off without them and a couple of others who played favourites. If nothing else this year the trials are showing, IB has a far better approach to team work than the last few years and the reflex first give is back. I still have some concerns around the lack of size over the entire ground and who is going to kick all the goals. :-k

Are you tipping IB to finish second frpm bottom there Silky, that might stir a few feathers. From what i've heard i'd have to say Loby and Bridgie should finish higher than Barker.

A few months back i heard good things coming from the Hahndorf camp. I'm hoping/thinking they might surprise a few this year, they've been going about things very quietly.

So with the coin Blackwood have spent, will they be a serious threat to Lofty?

So who have Blackwood picked up with these mullions they have spent?

And IB could go great or go shite I reckon. Getting a bunch of gun recruits often works, but sometimes doesn't. Look at Ormond-Allen and Cook (to a lesser extent) last year. But I'm tipping they might be around the mark at 5-6th. Besides, they play at that mini-golf oval where anything can happen.

Alaska your on the money, the other connection with Tarque is with Trent Shorland, Tarque was dating his sister. Believe it or not Monty was originally phoned due to this forum, he is also mates with Hunsie. Another Name is Mark Tucker signed this week with Meadows played at Uris 2004 , 2005 i think.
P.S Silky you little c**k choker I am not Rohan or his brother

I beg the differ, I'd suggest they'd have to spend far more than what Lofty have have to be in contention for the premiership.

Should be a relatively even comp across the bored I'm hoping, definately mores so than previous years.

Bring on the start of the season so we've got some decent things to chatter about!
