just looking at people's tips and the huge margins, looks like there are some teams that are really struggling. do you think the league can continue as it is or is there a chance of a merger with another league down the trrack?

Is this merger because of the contrast in scores, or because the clubs spending money are unable to sustain it??
Would think that even though Pinnaroo are getting flogged, they are one of the more sustainable clubs in the league, they did finish 20 points out of a Grand Final last year.
The unfortunate thing is that some clubs are having to spend money to fill a team, but the price is too high for country footy to sustain. A serious problem i would think that runs across more than just the Mallee Football League.
Too little, too late, if anything, has been done by the SANFL/AFL to assist in this sad story for country football.
