shanty play goolwa at goolwa sat. interesting to see what happens, ib played goolwa last week with few out but had majority of side. goolwa were missing 5 quality players as well as only having 26 players for the 6 qtrs as ib had 2 full sides.

For the few Country division followers on here, I did see the first half of the trial between Meadows and Mitcham (who I think are in A4) on Saturday. Meadows certainly looked pretty good and have plenty of big solid bodies in Morrisey, Dawe, Shorland, Tahu Lanyon, Dan Abraham, etc. I know they were missing Williamson amongst others but I think they'll be certainties to finish in the top 2 at the end of the minor round.
Once again there juniors seem to be up there as well so we may be due for a fair bit more Meadows success in the future.

Lobethal vs Tanunda @ Tanunda

Shanty vs Pt Elliott/Goolwa @ Goolwa

Anyone know if Blackwood or Mt Ronnie have any trial games??? word is that Mt Barker have been pulling PITIFUL numbers on the tracks ( I heard they would struggle to fill a team!!)

Everyone have a look at todays advertiser to see past bridgewater junior John McDonald taking centre piece in Sturts team photo. Classic!

Interesting to see Mt Barker's demise continue. Wonder what has contributed to them falling so far after being one of if not the dominant side of the competition. Any thoughts guys? Will the Roos have to field the same side for the A's and B's this year?

That's funny! I'm happy to fire up too!

I too am heading away for a working holiday but to the UK. Hopefully I can pick up some tips from their football hooligans so that when I get back it will be on like serena williams!!!!

Could be very quiet at the local derbys!!!
