look mate, i got no problem with your service, and the fact is a lot of senior players do follow the juniors. your young fella is great little player who loves his footy, can kick both feet which is huge. i just saying that if it is my club i will stand up for it. it is a place i would recommend anyone too.

i just found your comments on matt saunders funny. first i think that he is a very very good player. no doubts that he could tear the comp apart. he was injured leading into finals with at least 3 hamstring injurys. the latest one put him back badly. when someone stands up and plays well and is fit in his spot it was very hard to get back, when perhaps saunders was yet to prove that his body was right. i guess is what i am saying is he said he was right 3 times during year yet broke down during games after saying that. in hindsight, could have perhaps done with another marking target.

i hope he returns for another year cos knowing people better will only help his footy.

i just dont think clubs need to have shit being thrown around from with in. enough comes from the other clubs... ace heard about the footy trip shirt for mushy!

Does anyone know what the movements are of Barry Burgess from Hamley Bridge? I have heard that he may be heading with his mate Mitchell to Encounter Bay, demanding alot of $$$$$$$$. I understand that he was the leading goal kicker in the APFL, what else can you tell me about him?

i count three imports r mont j mont and rimmer, saunders is a local and it will bw heads forth year so he will be a local, not the smartest team selection there, the tallest bloke is 6 foot wheres the ruckman?

it would do the job,yes the ruckman is a worry but a hard running side will over come this,at the end of 09 mallala will be singing meatloaf" 2 out of 3 arnt bad" if viassco is back he could carry the ruck.

Geez hard work trying to decifer all that gents. I'll have a crack Jumbo!

Mallala going along nicely and all this whoohaa has only been produced by a bloke who has decided off his own back that he apparently isnt resuming his position at the club, for whatever reason. He has given the club 8 years of quality service, during that time all the players have respected him and appreciated his efforts. Despite a few little hiccups with some people around the club that were all blown up, his service is very much acknowledged by the footy club. However it seems someone has an axe to grind and this forum is apparently the most courageous place to vent your anger (not sure where it has come from) and sling sh#t back and forth at the club with cheapshots that really dont achieve anything, other than making yourself look silly.
The senior players at Mallala certainly support the juniors and always have, Christie, Hardie, Griff often help out with the running in the colts, Whitty coaches the colts and spends a hell of a lot of time with the young kids, and several other senior players get to the game or training to help out if they are needed and when they can.
Mallala is a great club and they are coming into a really exciting time, with a great bunch of blokes coming through. The supporters, players, committee and everyone invloved always enjoy themselves when they are at the club and this is the reason Mallala has been able to retain quality recruits and quality people. There is certainly no room at the club for people who start trouble and frankly some of the sh#t that gets dribbled on here, is basically coming from people with an axe to grind or are seeking attention. A great attribute of the footy club is that everybody is so modest and just gets on with their contribution and doesnt expect anything in return other than an honest committment from thier players and respect for their footy club. I am certain that 2009 will be just the same, as people that disrupt and make a fuss dont seem to feel comfortable and soon disappear. I hope for the sake of the club Goodie our trainer continues his job in 2009, however if he doesnt good luck to him and hopefully he sticks by the club as plenty of people respect the work he has done. It would a real shame if people such as he who may be possibly leave the club, unjustifiably try and cause sh#t by starting stupid rumours just to draw attention to themselves because respect takes a long time to gain, but it can be lost very quickly.
I hope that clears it up a little Jumbo.
Geez now that was about as deep as it gets from the Swamp. Can you spell check that MM.

Fair enough if you say so. I was counting Saunders, Head, Thomas & Christie. I must be wrong
