Getting a bit messy on here guys. I suppose that's what this forum is about, and we all have a right, but a little less unidentified comments would be good if you're not absolutely certain of your source, or have an axe to grind etc. But hell, we are what we are and I have my prejudices too, as do we all.

No comments to post other than I've heard Echunga will struggle, Nairne are travelling well at this point and Cally have no scheduled trials. Gums apparently have plenty of spirit and interest; good on em. Gum info came from some-one very reliable. Cally just sleeping at the moment and will bother when the season gets closer.
Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.

Bangladesh have plenty of spirit and Kenya are sleeping, too. "Steve Kavanagh an early medal favourite" quote

If he can play 3 x as well as he did last year and they finish just outside the final 5 - he MIGHT miss the mail medal by 20 votes!!!!!

sorry to add to the mess on here.....

The Mt Pleasant oval is in a mess.. thank goodness Tv dont play there 4 a while( May 17).

The horses really gave it a workover at the show yesterday.

Saw Bronte simmo with the chequebook in one pocket and a calculator in the other ..apparently they are well over the 35 pts and may have to offload!!!

For a trial it was a pretty good game, with both teams trying plenty of things. A great night under lights considering the heat, the oval was in top nick.

Steve Kavanagh early medal favourite ? Meadows whining about a player leaving ? Kersbrooks oval in turmoil, seems the heat is destroying all in its path.

Gums had plenty of players out there to choose from and there were quite a few of the Senoir boys rested/were not able to play. I think a more competitive year for them this year.

Brad Lees more than likely to be cleared from TV to Kersbrook, after attempting to make Brad sweat it out. Hughes contingent definitely signed at Kersbrook to offset the loss of Brad Green and retirements of J.Levett, S.Randall and D.Hughes. Houghton Oval to be used for first 3 Home Games for the Brookers.
Gumeracha look like they had improved on Friday Night against Greenacres, but still have work to do to trouble the Top 5.
Are Meadows seriously guttered about losing S.Russell to Onkas? Or they just putting on a good show?
TV with Jaques, Slattery, Siddle and co, will give their title defence a good showing. Only problem being points!!!

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not but I believe Adrian Mills, ex-Willaston and Central 19s/Reserves player is up at Gums this year I think. Is a Donnybrook local and aparantly they were never planning on matching what Gums offered so he headed up to the rocking horse.

It won't be a test, I'd be surprised if the Rams didn't win by 10 goals! Long year for the Valley of praise ahead. Is L Murphy playing for the Rams once again? What about S Tait? Surely he's pulling the boots on for his 'beloved' rams as the media keeps quoting!

yeah l.murphy is playing....
s.tait will not play football, as he is still contracted too cricket australia and if he injured himself playing football, there would be a lot of explaining to do.
nairne should do very well tonight.
