Does anyone know this Luke Trenowden, 28 year old who got arrested for terrorism in Port Lincoln? Allegedly his house got raided and a bomb was found along with plenty of drugs and drug paraphenalia.
It was on the 7 news, so no problem revealling his name.

This is from ABC website...

man accused of bomb possession has been denied bail after police deactivated a device in a car at Port Lincoln.

Luke James Trenowden, 28, of Port Lincoln faced court charged with keeping an explosive and possessing a stun gun and 13 pipes used the smoke the drug known as ice.

The prosecution alleged he had downloaded terrorism material from the internet and the bomb could have killed or seriously injured anyone within several metres.

The defence said the device was a case of "boys being boys" and was a bottle containing scrapings from party sparklers.

Trenowden was remanded in custody until the end of the month.

Police and customs officers had searched a house

"Boys being boys".... WHAT A GREAT DEFENCE    I wonder if that will work for Osama? ;)

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Boys being boys works when you're twelve, not twenty-eight...

He is former Wayback footballer Syd Trenowden's son and nephew of Trout Trenowden of Bostons.

Lets just hope he gets the right help because obviously he needs it.

Boys being boys, I tried that at high school and they told me to grow up!

So who made the runs in both games?

I just heard no one at Waybacks could get Watto out

Any thoughts on next weeks games and who has the advantage?

Toby Shearer made another 100 this week in very quick time for Tod River . Waybacks shared the runs around.

Not to sure about the A grade But Wooly made runs,Kay was still there at the end as well as .

We (Tod River) have possible a couple of big ins this week. Mole Hage has his cast on his hand off mid week and could be right to go as well as plugger should be available as well. So in Typical Tod River style we will train for 5 min drink for a couple of hours on Thursday and things should become clearer then.

Having said that Waybacks have their tail in the air and should go in favourite in the A grade and Lincoln South were the best side in the B grade all year . (We love being the underdogs)

Good couple of games coming up.

Geez i think you might be asking a bit much of mole to play next week after being in plaster for a coupla weeks, i wouldn't think he will be able to hang onto a bat all that well, especially when you are playing in a GF.

I hear you Derm.
More what he wants to do and it will be his decision. It has been in cast for 3 weeks and being the massive man that he is, would not have lost much strength in those weeks ( because there was not much before he had the cast on).
We will find out more on Thursday after a comprehensive fitness test.

Remember that Waybacks belted the River only a couple of weeks ago, plus asking around abit the Waybackers have hit their peak at the right time ;) .

Mole might have to roll his arm over a couple of times and have a hit enough for him to make a decision. At the end of the day he is the only one that knows how he is feeling and how confident he is that it can stand a full 100 overs. But in reply to your message i am sure it will be discussed at length at the bar.

Panther,

I'm looking at that Sporting Pulse thing, and despite a few names bandied about on here, Dorza and Tom Neindorf appear to be the only two coming TO BFC at this stage, and it shows we've lost Splinter, Weetra, Stifler, Sunny and Warwick...

Is there more to come, and the phantom signing of Ky Miller? All piss and wind from our end???

Ky was our first signing, apparently is playing reserves for Port at the moment so who knows where he's at. Mal signed but is coaching Mallee's now, coaches fee and a house provided.

Cornelioson also signed some time ago but his isn't up there either so I really don't know.....
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Is Ky Miller seriously up to SANFL standard?

I don't think so, so why is he playing there? Just goes to show where Port Magpies are at unfortunatly
