That would be some coincidence!….
Yes it’s the same one..

I don't think it is? Tom at Strath is from RSMU played u/17's in 2011 so would be around 29, Jacks Brother Tom is from Keith and was born in 1987 so would be around 36.
Its been publicised as 3 brothers and a brother in law, so presuming its the later? I think the confusion might be that Jacks brother Tom (& Alex the brother in law) played for Strath way back in 2008

You referring to the above Field of Dreams? Or have Myponga signed more?
Advertiser will be all over it

Poor Pongy 39 years since a flag 15 years since a GF appearance shame on them trying to compete.

Isnt this what the points process is for, giving the smaller clubs a chance to compete with the likes of Willunga

Poor Pongy haha I think a local established organisation might contradict that.

I think they're getting 15 points in 2023, so all is well. Hold recruits, they reduce! Well done
I would say no one has an issue with them trying to compete, just work within the rules & it will all be play on.

For sure am bays (and Cheap Seats).
I don’t mind the points system as long as it’s administered well. As for the salary cap….just scrap it. Does anyone seriously think it’s being adhered to?

The Strathalbyn Tom Redden is off to the Southern league, one of the Noarlunga sides I believe?

Considering Nurioopta got misled into thinking they were going to get a game, I reckon the BL&G should play on as well

I look forward to watching some GSFL that weekend

So GSFL starts on April 1st ?
I see last season it was April 2nd
2021 was April 10th
Guessing it revolves around Easter.
I was under the impression that all country leagues were having the weekend of garbage round off but obviously not?
Good decision. Would the reason to play be that if by having the week off it would create havoc at the back end of the season by finishing a week late or they rightly dont see any need to have the week off ?

If the season was postponed, the GSFL Grand final would have been on the same weekend as the AFL Grand final I believe. Will be great to have some local footy to go to. We cant all afford to go to Adelaide (fuel), park, get in, pay $20 for a beer, $10 for a pie. According to the CFB's own rules if you're coming from Bordertown or over 250km away, that's worth $400  If they say that's what it's worth to get players there, surely that's what it's worth to get the average punter the same trip in reverse? ;)

You may need to read the rules again....
Hugh Daniell will be 2 points for U18 more than 20 games.
Copper Gilbert played this year so will drop to 2 points.
Harry Cock has played last 2 years and more than 20 games so will be 0.
Ahmat-Watkins - Not sure where you get your info on this. Flights sit outside the salary cap. Harry Mlaco consulted at all times from what I'm told.
Given Dylan Lang has played at Myponga for year why would he not be 2 points?

Heard a number of teams wanted the 4 man bench same as AFL, SANFL, AMMO's.
GSFL has a heap more outs that don't make the press as its not good news to share. Will be interesting to see how the sides stack up Mt Compass going backwards, GPE a couple of steps forward, Yank holding, Victor some good steps forward, McLaren (losing a few more yet) still likely, Willunga lost more than they gained but will contend as always, LHC gettng the band back together know how its done and MSFC look to be better again.

It appears we both may need to re-read the Rules maybe?
Dylan Lang- 8.6.2. A registered player who achieves 20 Matches (without transferring) for the
same Affiliated League Club will reduce one (1) additional point the following season
after achieving 20 Matches (He transferred & went back to Brighton)

Gilbert I edited accidentally to 3, as I was changing Chalmers from 2 to 3 as he played majority league previous 2 years.

Ahmat Watkins- As for Flights- 31.2.3.10 Travel – Flights
Total Player Payments relief will apply to Clubs for airfares for travel to play
in Matches provided that such relief is limited to $400.00 per Player per
Match. (Show me a return flight to NT under $400 please)

Hugh Daniell You're correct, 2 points not 3
