Bit weak if a coach can tell you what to do in your own time.
The maybe FS has heard Lyrup Lions/Lyrup Chockers

I didn't notice any, but I was pretty focused on our boys.
In Jeff's defence, I don't think positional changes would have made that much difference.
The last quarter was a bit of a freak occurrence I reckon.

I don't see what they'd get out of that.
Cobby is a 99% certainty to make the GF so they would have to play them again anyway if they made it that far.

If this was the case i think its obviously Piss talk
Rodney isnt a bloke to throw a game and if it was spoken about i would def voice my opinion and refuse to play in a game i was asked to throw
Plus i hate losing no matter what

Wouldnt say big hit in that context but wouldnt have been the worse thing to happen on a footy field and wont be the last.

I heard it might have been payback for a young bloke kicking an old bloke in the head while he was on the ground.

I'm not going to defend the incident. The two that were involved know the full story.

I will defend the player involved though. He is a hard but fair player who will put his body on the line at all times. He has copped his fair share of hard hits over the years and sent plenty out as well. Your implication that he targets young kids is utter rubbish.

I agree.
I've played against him many times before and never seen him pick on a young kid.
Also the 'kid' you are talking about is around 20 I think, and can stick up for himself just fine.
Mitchell's a pretty solid lad and he'll bounce back pretty quickly I'd reckon.

No worries mate.

On a brighter note, just noticed that all the finals are played at decent ovals this year.
None at Brown's Well or East Murray!!

Matt Camplin got off at the tribunal last night.

Darrell Tilbrook in fact received 2 weeks for striking, despite pleading guilty.

Tough call. I really don't think he deserved two.
See's him miss last two minor round games - I'm sure he won't mind the rest though.

Will keep him fresh for finals.
Gives Lippis and Willmott a chance to catch him for the leading goal kicker award.
Tilbrook 67 by my count, despite what the rfl website says, Lippis 51, Willmott 49.
