OL- last one, because I'm laughing too hard...

More chance of Goldie completing the 40 hour famine...

Seriously thought, Bostons hat isn't on my head, my "love of football" hat is.

You can't have the situation where players and spectators are actually scared of going to Pecker Park, which is what we have now.

There is not adequate enough protection for the players, and for clubs to fulfil their "duty of care" to it's own players, they should be forfeiting Mallee Park matches.

Having said that, it isn't opposing clubs fault, so Mallee's should be farewelled....

Gents, when commenting about something that may become a legal matter please used the word "allegedly" liberally, we wouldnt like any of our members getting in legal trouble.

Play on...

The PLFL should do a full investigation in my opinion.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Not sure who coyote ugly is, at this stage there will NOT BE a full investigation tomorrow night, the only hearings tomorrow night will be the reports from the weekend. As no league official was present at Mallee yesterday we cannot go any further with this issue unless we receive a written complaint from the Boston Football Club by noon on the second business day following the alledge incident.

why was no PLFL official there?

I thought it was complulsory at every game?

It will be intersting to see if the BFC put in a complaint. By the sounds of it both clubs are embarresed by the incidents that took place and maybe sweeping all these incidents under the carpet may be the best thing.
I think football supporters jumping the fence and becoming involved in an altercation with players is much worse than a king hit on the football field. So maybe the BFC may not want to open up a can of worms?

Eski has asked me to post that other than Kaden tagging Harry and being clearly our best player to half time the attack had nothing to do with anything kaden did. Harry obviously very upset by the incident as he visited Kaden in hospital last night.

Would love to see the PLFL kick mallee park out of the comp they can bearly suspend players, how many combined games have players been suspended for in the last 5 yrs from reports??? not many im guessing, as for league officals present at mallee park, arent umpires officals of the league???? sure they'd have the game and incident on their mind but surely they seen the bigger picture and could recount there perception of events to the league. players and spectators involved in this incedent should have the book thrown at them and be suspended for a considerable time.

Seems to have been overlooked in the bigger picture, but how badly was Beau Jenkins injured?

even if kaden was annoying him with tagging roles, it is no excuse for harry to ALLEGEDLY hit him multiple times causing severe concussion, (including loss of memory, saw him early that night at hospital and he was not looking great.) all of this from a PLHS mentor for indigenous kids and an ex AFL footballer trying to advertise professionalism, very very poor effort.

as for mallee park, something needs to be done, this has been happening for years, every team has probably had an experience there, with one of the worst being the cheers and celebrations when Dom Romeo's leg was broken.

I'd love right now to hear a list of "worst of's" we all have from our dealings with MPFC...

For mine it was a couple of years back, I'm not sure if Panther was coaching or not, but we (Bostons) won the A Grade at Mallee's (first time in the nine seasons I've been involved at Bostons), and came back into the rooms to discover that our bags had been raided, with phones and wallets gone...

A family relation played in and won the Wayne Evans Shield by defeating a certain side and had rocks thrown at us when we were leaving.

Sounds like it was a controversial game at mallee park. I heard about it on the long lunch today.

The abuse towards umpires after the 2008 grand final has to top it Marble park. Disgusting. Didnt Umpire Todd George get hit with a stubbie?

Marble Park correct me if I am wrong but didn't Louie Hughes get hit when umpiring an under 12's match?
