Hows the oval up there at Berri?
The oval is looking like a treat. Best oval in Country SA.

Very big call. You wouldnt want to get too much rain up there or it might be under water. The best ovals dont have cricket pitches in the middle

True. Adelaide Oval and MCG are shockers when it comes to playing footy. ;)

Last time I looked the MCG doesnt have a pitch during footy season, and Adelaide oval has only a handfull of games per season on it and I bet if you asked players they would like the hitting that hard clay. I presume you arent a player and wouldnt know. As a player Berri oval definately isnt the best going around, that club rooms side wing is a shocker
What??? You're a hard man to please Jack. I've played on many country grounds around the state and not many stack up.

Just about to head down and take a look. Couldn't get a better day for it. What a wonderful day for drinking a bottle of rum while watching the footy. Good day for playing footy too.

Be very interested to hear about Jesse Kemp (EP).

Only a young lad, he doubled up as B&F & BU21 in the Mortlock this year, and as a young guy, I wonder if he'll follow Jake Stoll and head off to Adel. with a good CC.

Semnler was pretty quiet. I'd heard a lot about him, but he didn't stand out too much from what I saw. Habner struggled a bit at full back too (I think that's his name).

there's a couple of habner's over there.

mark played last year, and made the state side- tall, not a lot of hair left, based his carnival on taking saving marks across half back.

serious arm/hand injury in the last parts of 09

More importantly, how did the Vines nightclub hold up with all those footballers in town. The locals would have been chomping at the bit!
