If that's true that may upset a few people. Bit late for clubs to organise trial games for the weekend now, but I guess Loxton did what they felt was best for the players. They were in a lose-lose situation.

BD cancelled-Confirmation last night from Colin Milburn around 9pm. Loxton tried everything in there powers to set up environment for players but came down to advice from medical proffessional.

Yeah, Colin rang last night. He said 43 degrees is forecast for Saturday, with northerly winds. They cant take the risk.

Dissappointing, but what can you do ?

what would be the chances of organising some trial down in adelaide with the teams that were meant to be going up????

Not sure mate, we will still be doing something. Have to do it early though to avoid the heat.
