Thanks to the Peake Football Club for playing host to us this year – we a good day and we look forward to it again next year.

at the game myself, the tailem midfield were great good hitout for both clubs, bit surprised peake B-Grade got the money, but i think tailem missing a few there as well, have to listen to butcher talk himself up for the next year now!I think the new look tailem will scare a few sides this year if they can get it together and maintain it for all 4 quarters!!

i agree SLUG i just posted in the river murray forum about there ruckmen and WARK combo very handy them 2.

the mallee B-Grade is sounding interesting with both lameroo and karoonda claiming they will win the flag easy,I'm sure BDT and Peake might have something to say about that, talking to butcher sat' night at a party at midnight he thinks(drunk as)the lions can go through undefeated, and payed me out for being unaccountable(I'M WITH YOU NOW CAREY) but time will tell.

Alot of talk around these days of how much Peake have spent up but what about other teams like Karoonda? You only have to look at the clearance list.
I'm sure they have spent up big but being around the mark probably find it easier to pull good players where as Peake tend to pick up reasonable players but not match winners
So who's guna get the chocolates in round one?

I reckon Karronda to beat Lameroo easily, Murrayville to sneak past Peake and Borders over Pinnaroo

This weeks games
My tips: Lameroo v karoonda. Hawks to run over top in last half
Murrayville v Peake. Dogs by 5-10 goals. But Peake to score at least 15 goals
Pinnaroo v BDT. Crows by plenty but pinnaroo a bit unknown

Any other thoughts. Maybe some outs for the first round!!!

Lynn pulled a calf in the trial against Sedan so I'm told, & was absent against Tailem so he would be doubtful, & I am hearing Jackson is a doubtful starter for Karoonda?

Karoonda v Lameroo- The Magpies by 21-30 points, & prob a 1-2 goal better side every 1/4, no blow outs!

BDT v Pinnaroo- BDT will win this comfortably 51-60 points

Peake v Murrayville- Tight tussle, but I think the Dogs might just have too much fire power 11-20 points

Karoonda in a nail biter, wouldnt be suprised to see this match go either way.

Murrayville by 8 goal over Peake

BDT by 16 goal over Pinaroo unless the supercoach W M Murdoch can pull off a miracle like only he can

i'd like somthing you 2 are on! lameroo have no chance of beating karoonda who i think are a huge flag chance people are writing them off way to easy.

karoonda- 36 -for the reasons above like i said still a flag shot for me after all they played in the GF last year and have a long list.

BDT- 48- have lost a few but still a great side, well led, well coached and have a great core group of young players that will have them around the mark again

peake- 12 seen there side on paper looks ok. have heard a few regulars of years gone by are in the B grade and are filthy about it
