Seriously though, has anything been finalised?

With some of the pre-game prettiness preparations we go through at Devil Park, we'd look great in pink tutu's!

Haven't heard of a solution, but I'd back us in the biff with Rob O'Gorman. If we can get Pahly down for that weekend too, we'd romp it in!

Nice one!

Yeah I wouldn't want to play CUE or Kersbrook regularly after some of the stories I've heard.

[quote="Armytank"]What is happening regarding jumpers when you blokes play Lofty? Last I heard is that at the League AGM the league left it to you two clubs to punch on in the car park for the right to wear the red and white! Fair enough too 'cause no one else really gives a toss if you both show up in pink tutu's to your clash! :P

From what i have been told by coco birdwood will be wearing the hfl gear in both encounters. i think that it is fair enough to the devils have been in the central div the whole time if birdwood want a taste of good football then they need to make the sacrafice.

trust me it's crazy, the brawl at last years div2 GF, which i assume would've raised a mention on here was a disgrace, and not totally uncommon for some of these clubs.
at the very least birdwood will do well to get it's awesome junior program away from that and into a more professional comp

I think it's like the Port AFL thing. Port wanted to wear black and white but couldn't because Crappywood already wore those colours.

The team coming in should change their jumper. I dont think the home team should be able to choose which jumper they wear. It's simple if a new team enters a league and play a team with the same jumper, the new team needs ti find a clash jumper.

Or you could just be like Blackwood and wear the crappiest looking jumper ever that nobody would possibly ever want to have anything remotely similar too!

(How's that for some terrible english!)

Is anyone a fan of the woods?

And if you do like that jumper....sorry but have you been tested for colour-blindness? Apparently the most common form of colour-blindness is the inability to determine the difference between green and red.

I know I don't have it because I can see their jumper perfectly and it's absolute shite!

DA: Good to see you rubbishing the previous colors of one your foundation heritage clubs of your beloved Mt Lofty. Obviously no knowledge of the mitey red and green Heathfield-Aldgate United machine (88 unbeaten games, 9 flags in a dozen seasons!!!!). With comments like that no wonder the national trust was brought in to heritage list certain items. So it's a disgrace to view the showcase of pat champion teams within your club cos' of their jumper color. Not that red and white promotes any real fear. FFS who cares what you wear. Reckon you should be made to wash out your mouth with the run-off from the shower-room at Heathfield for your apparent disrespectful thoughts:oops:

CIS Why do you think we changed colours? - Cos they were shite.

I never rubbished the achievements of HA and am fully aware of and applaud the clubs outstanding record. I don't think anyone at the Devils isn't aware of it.

My bad though. Really didn't think that post through. They were shocking colours though!

if sinkas was captain of devlies '07 i will throw up.. ha ha i thrive on his shrill squeel after the goal tho reminds me of the 6 hours he is shouting in the field at cricket. if i was birdwood id wana wear the hfl gear, may just hold onto a jumper after the game as i dare say some of the roosters will....

Just thought about that actually, who provides the shorts and socks? I bet the HFL isn't going to cough up for shorts and socks for anyone other than the assoc 2 games a year!

And I'd say Birdwood boys won't be buying an additional set of gear to wear twice for the season either.

Could be a punchup in the carpark after all!!! Either that or we'll all just both wear the same colours and do some circlework for 4 hours on a saturday twice during the season!!!
