But that's the way it is though.
The Independent clubs receive nowhere near the amount of attention they deserve.

After playing and coaching in both leagues, I can say that things get done a lot quicker if you're involved with the 'big six'.

strange statement - what sort of attention are the indy's after? media? thats determined by bums on seats and you do the maths - SANFL dont get as much attention as AFL either ?
You sound like a lover scorned.

No I mean attention from the executive.
I'm not saying the RFL clubs don't deserve what they get, but it would be nice if the Independents got more than just scraps.

im not going to add anymore to the "berri in trouble" thread but i am glad that the answers posted sure shed some light on whats happening there. At the start i believed they were in trouble ( and still do ) BUT a least everyone knows now that measures are in place to improve and people got to speak passionately about their footy club.

League knows nothing about it Bradman because Wunkar have not forfeited.

So polish your boots you have got a game.

As for Focus Stuey I can now understand why he gets beat up at Riverland nightspots.

My tips for this weekend are:-

LOXTON NORTH over loxton,
BARMERA over Berri (cant see them winning again this season unless they beat loxton again)
WAIKERIE over Renmark.

Im amazed that so many people are tipping renmark over Waikerie after what they did to them earlier this year at Renmark. I think that Renmark have more of a killer instinct to finish sides off but Waikerie always seem to perform better when there backs are up against the wall plus it being such a big occasion for the 100 years celebrations i dont think Waikerie will let it slip!
Would love to hear other peoples veiws for and against the argument!

You idiot! I'm offline for a few weeks and you type this??? I'll have you know I gave off a handball that resulted in a goal in the last game I played! Seems so long ago, I'm surprised I remember it!

With you on this one. FS seems to his mouth into gear long before his brain wakes up.
Only a week or two ago he said Brayden Smith was going to be playing for Wunkar.
Have the Wunkar guys done something to upset FS

In one of my many hours sitting in The Cathedral Hotel over the last two weeks I overheard three conversations between different people planning on attending the match at Waikerie.
I asked them if they had a connection at all, on each occasion they replied "no".
This match is going to bring them in from everywhere. Good luck to all involved. It's great for the competition.

Waikerie will smash the Rovers!! Every time the Rovers look like they're showing some promise they fall in a heap. Yet to get close to the Pies and fall dramatically short in the mid-field. A big game specialist vs a side that has rarely experienced a big occasion won't help them either.

Fs i obviously dont know you personally but someone has obviously said something to you for you to say it
Surely you would have enough respect for clubs and footy in general to not just come out say something stupid like that if they didnt.

of course you were going to get backlash if it was wrong now your going to town on blokes for pointing out how stupid it was
its damaging to the club you named
