Mate, thats harsh. I think you need actual proof that someones an idiot before you can make statements like that.

For example, if you had photographic proof of Fisty doing something stupid, then you could call him an idiot...

Yep.
I reckon Renmark is the best team in the comp when they're going.
So long as they take a better attitude than last time they played Waikerie, I reckon they'll win.

You'd have to ring the RFL.

If she has all the final say gives one person a lot of power.
Could do a lot of damage to some clubs if she had a grudge against them

Wunkar will struggle this week Codmaster.

Lots of injuries, however no Wunkar team has ever forfeited in their entire history.

So while they eventually come up with the quantity the quality may be questionable.

personaly i think the riverland footy needs a revamp. perhaps merging the 2 comps into 1 would help. the riverland can only sustain 10 teams i reckon.

Barmera, Berri, Loxton, Loxton North, Renmark, Waikerie, Paringa-Lyrup, Cobdogla-Moorook, Mallee (Wunkar/Brown's Well) and Ramco. East Murray to go back to mallee league

by merging some clubs they could field teams in the junior grades and easily have enough for seniors. a 10 team comp would be a lot more exciting to rather than the same old team playing against each other in finals every year.
i know this will never happen, but what does everyone think?

Hmmm. You're right that will never happen.
I can see the logic behind it, but getting teams with proud heritages to merge is as likely as Dogwatcher handballing it withing 60 metres of goal.
Although it would be good to wear a Lions guernsey (Go Brissy!).

good idea in theory but without the money of the BIG 6 it will never happen
unless like in afl the big 6 pay for the smaller less forunate clubs to survive and be competitive

Bradman I know your new to Riverland football but just a word of advice - The 'Big Six' do not like being referred to as the 'Big Six'.

I know a few blokes who have been to delegate meetings and let it slip and the reaction they got sent them under the table quivering in the foetal position.

Chuck may be able to add more.

He's right. They don't like it.
But that's the way it is though.
The Independent clubs receive nowhere near the amount of attention they deserve.

After playing and coaching in both leagues, I can say that things get done a lot quicker if you're involved with the 'big six'.
