As I didn't see the incident at Mallee Park today, i cannot comment to much. at this stage the incident is out of control of the PLFL and is know in the control of the Independant Commissioners. This is the sort of stuff we dont want to happen in PL Footy or any football for that matter, we need to stamp this out of the game. Some people have been saying that Mallee Park need to be removed from the league, this may be true in some cases, I've been involved for many years in PLFL both umpiring and being a league official, there has been other incidents of simular out comes and this club hasnt been involved.

lets just let it run its course and see what happens with both the league and police if it goes further.

the dees got over the line, by 3 or 4 goals, in a very tough encounter at artic... the ability of the dees to maintain pressure on the ball carrier was the difference in the end - their tackling was a highlight....minya, hunt and davidson very good for the dees. The Roosters will look forward to a calming of the weather, especially with their tall side. They were probably at least one tall too many...

I'm not sure who you are tangles however the commissioners aren't that 'independent' if you go by the akehurst and cummings decision from 3 weeks ago. by all reports the umpires said everything right and the 'independent' commissioners still let them get off. my opinion (without seeing the incident) would be that the Mallee boy's will get games if the bostons commissioner is on duty that night (cos mallee's don't have a commissioner).

TRR you are quite right about us needing the 'perfect' condition's to play footy. I can't understand why we don't just man up on Minya. He gets too many easy kicks and all his possessions are quality. number 7 got plenty of it for the Dee's aswell - i hope you didn't teach him how to kick though TRR!!! - and i thought the overall game was a reflection on where both teams sit on the ladder. this will be a great season for both team's. (especially if Mallee's get kicked out of the league and join the great flinders' league) . I thought Magic and MJ both had blinder's for us and it was good to see nick cunningham play well in the B's.
It was great to see all the Wayback supporter's and player's back at the club afterwards. And don't worry TRR if any of your player's leave anything behind i'll promise we will return them and not chuck them in the fire as other clubs do.

I remember reading a post on here a while back about why people would want to play in the GFFL & from what i have heard on this site tonight about an incident in the PLFL today I think it is pretty clear. As for the thought that a certain club would be accepted into the GFFL i think some people are dreaming. That will never happen. It seems that leopards never change their spots.

Fair call livefooty, as I have previously stated there is always two sides to a story and we have only heard one on here from the boston supporters. It will be interesting to hear what pecker power has to say

A rumour that's been growing some momentum lately would be the introduction of a North Shields team...

Now I know that this might get me in trouble... But...

Mallee's out, Shields in!

Thoughts?

Surely they would not have the numbers required to fill 7 football sides (all grades) . Dorward Oval is not acceptable to play football on.

One of our worst performances for a long time yesterday with players turning up not wanting to play. I could tell in the changerooms prior to the match. 2 games plus percentage out the 4. we are shot and will play kids from here on in.

Sounds like another pleasurable day out at mallee park oval. What a delight and privelage it is to play there. We are so lucky. What did Kaden do to provoke Harry as I cant imaging Harry doing something like that?

If anyone is going to join the GFFL it will not be the peckers it will be us.

Sounds like you have your bostons hat on marble park. Have you put the PLFL one in the cupboard?

What are you suggesting that it was planned after half time to usettle the tigers who were in front?

I googled it

The Pulitzer Prize is a U.S. award for achievements in newspaper journalism, literature and musical composition. It was established by Hungarian-American publisher Joseph Pulitzer and is administered by Columbia University in New York City. According to the administrators of the Pulitzer Prize the correct pronunciation of the name should sound like the verb pull, as in "Pull it, sir"[1]

Prizes are awarded yearly in twenty-one categories. In twenty of these, each winner receives a certificate and a US$10,000 cash award.[2] The winner in the public service category of the journalism competition is awarded a gold medal, which always goes to a newspaper, although an individual may be named in the citation.
