If you can't have a bit'o'fun there old timer I would say male menopause has arrived on a large scale.
Clarky is a definite threat for the medal, I would have him in front by 2 votes just at the minute.
Will be interesting to see how close I am.
Sadly Dogga Woodards is having a slight form trough and his odds maybe lengthening by the week,
shows that it happens to the best of us, the very best of us.
Word has it he has been battling some personal sadness that originated form a bad haircut he received,
battle through it Dogga, we are all here for you.
He will still be at the count though, they send his invite out in April.....

Now that I have had my grizzle, can anyone tell me what happened last week in the Northern Areas? I had a Jamestown/Peterborough vs Crystal Brook Grand Final written in on my calendar but both sides lost to Southern Flinders and Orroroo.Have these sides entered the race too! What about BMW Sky Pilot? I can assume Broughton Mundoora have no chance.

Also,I saw it aforementioned that a Clark from BMW is one of the threats to Andrew Purchase for the medal and he was high in the best players again. Is he the son of the big ruckman?

Clarkey is Ian's son. Hes a centre half back and I don't think they win Mail medals. Kapitola is the tip I reckon. And you are pretty right with the GF prediction - IMHO CB JP and BMW will figure

I hear Dogga could struggle as a headline grabber next year. Big names already being linked to NAFA wooden-spoon prospect Broughton-Mundoora. Any advance on the Joel Millard offer to leave Mallala and become a beachside Eagle?

Oh Really? You could be right OnSong. Millard is a stand-out ranga and star rover with Crystal Brook - who used to be coached by Broughton-Mundoora and Sturt legend Trevor Sims - so maybe there's a connection. But yeah, the Mallala boy Montgomerie sounds more like it. Any idea what he would command in match payments?

I don't think Joel would put a price on his head, but if I was BM looking to lure him out, I would be putting at least $350 to $400 on the table to start with.

yes and B-M would be straight up too IMO. I'm doing lunch in Pirie tomorrow with a few blokes who have considerable leverage in the NAFA and SGFL so I will be putting this exciting development to them. Should I invite Dogga?

Nah mate he's from the BLGFL (Angaston or Tanunda I think) and he played a few games for CDFC Ressies. He's a good bloke and has all the skills on the footy oval. He just struggles to find the ball sometimes but when he does he's a good finisher IMO.
I dunno how he became elevated to celebrity status on here but its all good fun.

So southern flinders arnt pushing for a flag? I dont know starighttalker, help me out here, i have a feeling Dogga has already led the tigers to a flag ( on one leg i mught add, mere mortals could not overcome what Dogga did just to play, it was an inspiration to the team to see him throw the crutches away and take the field)
They talk about the size of Phar Laps heart but believe me it pales into insignificance compared to the size of Dogga's

And thats exactly the sort of thinking Sheedy is counting on from the other AFL clubs.
3rd party payments have been in the news a bit this week, so if your wondering how Southern Flinders can afford such a gun there is your answer.
