I would agree Tailems recruiting after 2000 hasen't been that flash but during the late 80s through the 90s Tailem recruited blokes that stayed at the club 4 to 5 years and TRAINED atleast once a week TOGETHER. Thats what won premierships. Thats why Jervois has been so successful, Thats how Mypo won premierships in the late 80s and thats why Imps won a couple of Premierships.

so whose fault is this are the comittee chooseing these recruits you say are no good and if you are at tailem like it sounds why dont you guys as players do something about it surely you would apreciate that blokes are coming up there at all though is a long drive and club is struggling of late you should apreciate these players commiting to your club im sure big denty has worked hard to recruit good players which we all know is tough these days as there is so much money out there and players are all getting greedy and playing for the wrong resons there arent to many loyal players who play for the love of the game anymore now its all about the bleeched hair and the spray tans and waxings look out country footy the homos are coming and they want the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

My Godfather, I reckon I now know why Bendigo Bank took over the Adelaide Bank!

Slow down son, take a breath, put some fullstops and commas into your sentence before you have a major coronary occlusion.
In case you don't know that'sa stroke that occurs in the brain as distinct probably from your normal habit of stroking the weiner!
You sound as though you're having problems with new players coming to the club, why, they might help you to win a few more games.

Every club needs recruits i just think over the last few years Tailem haven't quite recruited Quality. Quantity has improved but the quility of recruit is what they need to look at. I take my hat off for the recruits that have come but are thay there for the right REASONS. If what i hear is right there is no Wilky and no Herbert. I believe you cant go to a club for money and expect to go there for 1 season and then go where you think the grass is greener. The coach has to take responcibility for the recruits because when you appoint a coach to the club, you appoint him for what he can bring to the club, what he has to offer.

Are there any clubs still training in this heat?
I dont know if i was seeing shit last night when i was heading down the river but i saw a group of about 20 lads running down the river i think it was Imperial people i know there was one wearing a Blues Guernsey but i saw a few new faces down there, anyone know who the 4 new players signed are?
an why would you train on the hottest day in History?

Been there done that, make sure you know your facts?? before you shit can WILKY & HERBERT. Wilky's shoulder is still stuffed from a work accident last year and will not be playing at all, as far as Herbert his knees are just about bone on bone and both players were not on a great amount of coin.

DSJO thanks for filling me in with correct information. The info i had didn't mention about the shoulder or knees. Must have had it 3rd or 4th hand info. I actually appreciated the way they played.

Correct. All will be missed but only Ewer, Rigney & Bayli$ played over 6 minor round games for us last year so with the new guys coming in, we will hopefully cover the losses.

Was talking to a couple of the Mannum boys, & Meuller has come with coach apparently. They say he can play
May signed with Ramblers last year but didn't play. Not sure of his ability but was worth points, so presumably would be ok
