So the chargers have done their usual after Xmas dissapearing act.

What about the fiasco at Tasmans, captain gone, they have 2 colts sides and continue to play Murdoch and Kurovec in the a grade

I just drove past Centenary and there is no more people there than at a normal game on a Saturday. Looked very dissapointing.

I have heard the PLFL, after heavy critisism from the Council and the RCC, have now changed the number of football games at ravendale this season from 7 to 12.

Shame on the Port Lincoln cricket community for not supporting this event. It was obvious to me that Port Lincoln cricketers do not care about anything but themselves after today.
The only 3 players from the whole association that I saw at the event were Craig Reidy, Paul Bell and Nicky Mislov (appologies if I missed anyone) All you cricketers need to take a good hard look at yourself, you should have supported this event.
To the people who did care like the PLFL officials, Grand Tasman Hotel, Rotary and others I say thank you and any money raised has been due to your hard efforts. I would have missed others but that is who I could see volounteering on the day.
The graffiti and vandalism of Centenary Oval is a worry, I ask the question WHY? this is going to be a big worry when a grandstand goes up.

Yes the origional copy of the programme has been changed so those who have a copy please disregard it. I am surprised a certain few at the PLFL backed down to having more games at ravendale, one game in partricular will not go ahead as programmed out there I am sure of that and its not hard to work out which game that is.
There was a great moment recently when Toka's mentioned the possability of playing a Mortlock Shield match at ravendale, Zoomer's reaction was the funniest thing I have ever seen.
I just want to say for those who wish to see football remain at Centenary you have a chance to assist Zoomer and Clarkey when they improve the oval. Now is the time to stand up, offer your services or say to them if you can help in anyway.
Daics the recent spate of vandalism at the oval is concerning to us but we have Malcolm Harris doing late night patrols and if he catches them then their life will not be worth living.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Well Done MP !
Moving the Mortlock out to Ravendale is about as far out of town as I would want it
but maybe Tokas grand plan is to shift it 30 miles to the North west that would make
Zoomer happy
