Seyers is going back to imps but he is reciving money to play but all i have heard it is no more than he was on a Peake
I havent heard anything on jamie honner but hey there would be a massive chance seen he is from Prt Lincoln because Harrowfield,Puckridge, Waite and Kennys all come from around there. so hey if he does we would defently be over our points. but we have plently of youth at the club to play senior games and get points back.

Sorry Wiz but you are looking upon Imps with Rose coloured glasses on!!! Dont get me wrong they are a great club but here are some facts:
B. Kenny $550
Z. Kenny $550
Seyers $250 was on $350 @ Peake

by my calculations thats $1350 without:
Waite
Puckeridge
Harrowfield
Tonkin
Honner- if as stated he plays for Imps
Johncock- if he doesnt play at Sturt
Girdam
Hodge-not sure if he gets much
Puatti- has been on a small sum previous years
So u do the maths & see what you can come up with. Now for the points issue:

Girdam 2
Tonkin 2
Kenny 2
Kenny 2
Honner 3
Johncock 3

Thats 14 points with only 10 allocated. Does Imps have 4 good u/17's each week to play???

Good Point Goldberg
What about Meningie in 01 , jervois in 04,5,6,7,8 (and about 12 paid players last year), even Ramblers last year paid good money, unfortunately its the way it is now days, good players demand good money, i dont know why the fingers always pointed at imps, whats important is to try and keep a balance.
as for all the amounts expressed on this site you can believe what u like , some people from the clubs involved r the only ones who really know and as for hearing it from the players themselves? they do tend to exagerate , paid players have big egos !

Goldberg you seem to think you know a lot but I told you a few weeks ago Johncock was not playing at imps next year and I think you will find that Tonkin is also not playing at imps, so still have plenty of points.

Is the Tonkin thing a new development??? BB08
And as for Johncock- the Wiz said it a few posts back so I thought it might be on again, should know better, as his cred has been shot to pieces in recent times

Hey Footy Wiz. Don't know where you get your info from but some of it is wrong.
Johncock will not be at imps and that his a definate.
Sayers Has one B&F to his name
Hodge has played about 5-10 reserve games don't know if that makes him a ressies player
Hines one of the best crumbers that is a big call
.
What about these other players that Imps Have
Jason Puatti - A grader
Ryan Eyre - A grader
Damien Garrett - A grader
Ashley Temby - A grader
Michael Hines - A grader
Shaun Clayson - A grader

Yes they all are grat A grade player but i trie separating the new rookie A graders and the Best A graders all most of the players you named there have been playing A grade for a few years now and Damien Garret wont be playing A grade this yr. if he plays any grade it will be B grade for a bit of the yr.

Hey i heard that hodge was regarred as a Ressie down at sturt i am only going on facts i hear at the pub and club.

if i am starting rumors well it wouldnt be a rare thing on this site.

I heard that Puckeridge is coming back from a knee recon & may not play at all. If so not until half through the year. Ryan Eyre nearly won the B&F this year so I would have had him above some of the guys you mentioned. If Damien Garrett does play I would imagine that he would play A grade after all he should have been playing in the 08 side. He would be still in the top 10 fittest at that footy club I would think.
Sounds like Imps early on may be the side to beat though. But remember its only early days though.

Heard recently that Mypo are chasing, or may have already signed, a quality ruckman with SANFL experience. If he has signed, presumably they'll be going after midfielders after losing some quality on ballers so far this pre season.
