Good to see the competition is alive and going well.

yeah mallala v Virginia great hard game of footy until a young Virginia lad was feld behind play, and yet again no report was laid  :?

Certainly was a close game, not sure about great, the skill level of the magpies was ordinary and made virginia look ok.
Hey Faxu, if Papanotis is gonna give out a bit tough stuff to blokes behind the play and in packs and not get seen each week, then you blokes have to be willing to take a bit of crap and cop it sweet. Good see Papa spitting a bit of claret there at one stage There watching the game and did not see this incident, but it would be disappointing if it was behind the play. .
Nah the rams certainly played a good brand of footy saturday mate, good to see.

yep right up your ally jackass! so gutless you hit players from behind :D. true to your style you lie and make false accusations about Virginia players, tell the TRUTH!!!! maybe it was Virginia`s attack at the ball was far more than the pies are used too and to apply constant pressure is a major factor in footy.then to attack a player let alone young new players is such a cowardly act  and if that is your style SW their are a few boys who would not mind seeing you behind the old shed be good to see if you have the intestinal fortitude to tell Steve pap your thought`s face to face?at least he man enough to front up.unlike sum!!!!!!

Fire up son!!

Dont start this again mate, i gave my justified opinion yet you get personal again. Take a deep breath and relax and read my entire post again and youll see that i commended virginia s efforts on sat, regardless of how many magpies were on the fence watching. Sign of a good team, hopefully for thier sake they can keep consistency up, this will be an issue i believe. United must start favourites next week!!

No room for Paul Vandenberg from united?? After seeing him against the eagles, i would put him at #1 or #2 in league (ruck).

Yeah possibly, i have not seen him play yet, but i would certainly prefer a much tougher more aggressive ruckman than Lowe in the team if he fits that mould!!!

Loewe performs allright in assoc games and i know for a fact he was very close to getting a guernsey in the state game. Is held in high regard by other coaches and zones.

Well to be honest i expected Virginia would do reasonably well. However i didnt expect they would get as close as 10 pts. Thats a pretty good effort! Having saw them against Longies the other week, you could see the players were prepared to give an honest contest. Confidence is a big thing and they may just be starting to get some back. I think we may see some fast improvements and its safe to say the guys are certainly having a crack!

As for Papa, very good player and shows alot of emotion for his club on the ground. Im sure he will do everything to help turn his clubs fortunes around.

Pappy is an example of white line fever and your right his emotions get the better of him sometimes but off the field he is one of the nicest blokes. I'd hate to think what he would have achieved and been like as a player had he been in a successful team all these years. Before you react and jump down my throat Faxu, that is only stating the obvious based on the results of virginia over the past few years and is not meant to be offensive in anyway.
What Virginia must be commended on is their latest recruit in netball. Leah Torzyn is a gun and was one of the best players in state league for Oakdale last year before retiring during to back injuries. She will be a huge asset to the girls.
I like the line up of the assoc side boys, but having played along side ciccy, i reckon he does his best work off the half back. As for Loewe, i agree that someone with a bit more heart and mungrel would be best served. Sure Lowey is good but you need more than just being blessed with height.

Welcome aboard Muck. Its nice to hear some serious talk from you but it is only early days for you and bit by bit we will break you down to have you talking trash in no time.
We should be happy with the association set up. Div 1 amateurs state side played their game last weekend so the Div 1 league all had the bye. As a result, they now have to play their round this weekend. That is a bit cruel i reckon. Why should 400 players, (A's and B's 10 clubs) not be allowed to head away with family on a public holiday so 22 players can play last weekend. Although it may have been a public holiday in Perth last weekend??. Either way, poor scheduling which I hear has annoyed a few.
Where are the games being played this weekend?

Yeah he was bloody good on Saturday vs Mallala. He definately took the points on the day clearly. Big man can jump!!!
Ryan Starr carved the first half too but needed a bit more from him in the last. The comp is nice and even at the moment which is great, hamley prob the only club that are well off the pace. Virginias first win cannot be far away!!

C'mon you boys, Lowey mightn't be the fearsome unit Whiskey is but the bloke is 6 foot 9 or something crazy, the games only being played in two halves and you want a bloke who is gonna get first hand on it regardless of whether he hurts anyone. If Lowey can do this, it will make the opposition defenders have to work hard as the pill will be in their end all day.

Cookey might go alright and Rumour has it he is having a run on thurs night, but Lowey's game last year stands out in my mind and must get a call up, i'm sure Mossy and the lads wil put a rocket up the big bomber's ass and will will have an impact. Jeez, did i mention he was 6 foot 9? i've seen scoreboards that aren't that big!! :)

PS: Don't start up on the netty Girls the Hens are Flying, good bunch of sheila's and they are as tight as their coachs shorts!!
