Hentschke to CHF???? I would be keen to see it but i doubt it. . Much more value at CHB or wing as a rebounding defender

Someone from up here inthe Barossa told me that they saw Kirk Heberle mixing it with some boys from a local footy club at the Races at Murray Bridge a couple of weeks ago...

Apparently still hasnt put pen to paper at Gawler Centrals yet, is there a chance of him turning up down there??

No chance mate, I was at the races with Kirk that Sunday because he is married my cousin and he happened to be in the Bridge for a family show. It just happened to be with the imps blokes because that is who we were hanging around with. Geez you can't go anywhere can you without ending up on here.

I would have to agree Goldberg he still comes up to imps some weekends during the footy season. He hated Mannum when he played here, can't see him playing for them.

Perhaps your club should ask the question at least... just funny he hasnt signed for Centrals yet (especially after the work he seemed to be doing with their juniors last year)... Never know if you dont ask, one of the quality players in the BLG and would surely account for himself well in your league...

Or have you already asked him (or his wife, your cousin) already...

Mate never really thought about it. I only found out last year that he was a pretty descent footballer. Will have to talk to the hierachy at imps, but would be a long way to drive each week.

From what I hear, a lot of the younger league players (from GC) listen to him, so he may bring a couple with him...

Better send him a good Xmas present!!!

Otherwise, just another rumour floating around the Barossa.... Standard practise up here!

Talking to someone at Meningie the other day and said they were talking to North Adelaide reserves players to come play for them (don't know who they were), but they were close to signing them and they were offered $1600 per game in country Victoria. That is just ridiculous money, that would be more than some SANFL players are getting I reckon.

They don't have a salary cap in country Victoria, presumably they don't have a points system over there either.

I agree, silly money . . I think $1600 is more than most SANFL players would earn a game. . Some clubs in the Sth Est are paying over $1000 a game also.
