How many games did Visser play during this period Swamp? you would of been a bit young to remember, S.Visser spent most of his time on crutches, his brother Darren played more good games in the year he coached than Scott in the handful he was at the Pies.

Another Pies gun during that early era was Ryan Kennedy, won a Mail Medal during Thorneys time after Adam McEvoy had gone to Roxby.

If my memory is right (it may not be cos it was a while back) Visser kicked 100+ one year and 80+ the next. I may well be wrong on this Hazbeen, you would know more than me on this one mate, I could only just see over the rail of the fence.

Donkey, If your qualification for the best players in the period from 96 to 06 includes a guy who only played for 2 or 3 years then it defeats the purpose. Scotty McArdle did exactly what Visser did, but did it for ten or more years. For you to take out of that list the most dominant forward in this comp for a 10-15 year period is a crime. I think you'll be hard pressed to find anyone else that agrees with you Donkey in that Scotty wasn't in the top ten players in that period.

Most people would easily have him in their top 3.

So if the same Q was asked about the AFL Buddy Franklin or Gary Ablett Jnr wouldnt be in yours MC?

Visser was a long shot and really a load of crap, I was just in a pain-in-the-arse mood and thought id stir the pot

No they wouldn't be in mine Donkey. The original argument was from 96-06, so they wouldn't qualify under that time frame. Players like Carey, Voss, Hird Richo etc...

Nothing unusual for you to be a pain in the arse mood...........speaking of which I might be in a pain-in-the-arse mood in 2 and a half weeks time. And you know exactly what I mean Donkey
