Lubs won't need to worry about that because he will be given early retirement after winning the flag at freeling. Greenwood to take over the reigns.

Angaston full of hope but will get pumped by Staff's tigers at peter liddy park.

Has everyone forgot The panthers and rovers last clash. I rememember the weather to be fine on that day. As I recall the panthers came away with a reasonably comfortable win aswell without Harvey, or Kym Riemann. And lets not forget the gaping hole left when the undisputed super-star of the competion B.B. Bascombe doesn't play.

Either way it should be a great contest at Kapunda on Saturday. I know I, like many, will be in the grips of Bascomania. The B-Train to kick 5.

Looking forward to head out and see the boys at training tonight.
The "B-TRAIN" has personally invited me to rub his hammy's down before training.
If anyone needs a lift to Kapunda, I am herding my camels to "The Sheik from Arrow Creek's" property tomorrow morning.
While there early, ill have a look at the deck and advise Coach Hadden accordingly on his selection dilemmas.
Also, while being investigated today by the ATO, Chris Gerhardy rang me and said he will grab a lift, said his knee won't come up for the big game.

Is there going to be a banner on Saturday??? Just for the B-Train to power through??? It's funny, he's got the engine, the big caboose and he's the fat controller all wrapped into one overly hairy package...

Heard some big name players from Torrens Valley who played with Eichner at Port are heading out to freeling next year (would have rucked in the Hills v BLG game despite being from country division, just to name 1). Anyone confirm/deny this? As for this week. Well, what a ripshnorter of a game it looks to be. If the big man Ta'Basco' sauce fires, it's Ango for me. If he is shut down they will not kick enough goals against a quality tiger backline. Hughes to have a big one for the panthers and Tregenza to fire for yellow and black.

Got away from the missus tonight and managed to sneak a quick look at the boys on the track.
Coach Hadden had the boys moving the pill around like a hot potato. :ymbringiton:
I’ve never seen as much competitiveness on the track since Doodie Rosenzweig was playing back in 1999. :axe:

If your referring to Jaques i'd say no i don't think so.
As for the others their obviously chasing money ( thats why their at Torrens Valley ) if thats the case.
They should win a flag at Torrens Valley this year after spending atleast $125k but can Freeling afford that sum?
If they can they will kiss goodbye the woodenspoon but i don't think so.

Toronto, yeah apparently we are changing our guernsey to red and blue prison bars and renaming ourselves the Freeling Magpies. We are also relocating to Tassie and then calling ourselves the Freeling Magpie Devils. this will be our new recruiting zone.
Good luck to you guys tomorrow !
Make sure you prepare properly, remember it might be 10 degrees there in Angaston today but its 29 down here on the flats. Also, dont forget to give yourself time to decompress coming down the hill, theres more air down here, so youll need to acclimatise. Keep those fluids up , and dont forget to bring your kite for the half tme entertainment, its gonna be blowing a gale down here.

Don't think several players from TV enjoy winning by 25-40 goals almost every week and are looking for more competition, whether it's down in amateurs or BLG. It would definitely shake the competition up if a few decided to make the journey. Not seeing them play this year i've heard Freeling have some guns but the fringe players are "way off A grade standard".

Just got back from Northland Packaging to by some blue and white balloons and streamers for my lads birthday this weekend but they had sold out. Obviously Ango people are stocking up early. So I had to grab the black and yellow stuff as they were on the bargain table going out at half price. Even the local Nuri businesses have succumb to realization that it will be a straight set exit for both the A and B grade cubs this weekend.

Some one is telling you porky pies, they have bugger all weapons in their arsenal. A couple of good kids took the brunt of the slaughtering for them this year.

A belated Congratulations to Shaun Baker on his second Schluter medal, a fine achievement, well deserved. Cant believe he's only 23 ! He must of lived a hard life down at Willaston. Seriously good player though, a vctory for rangas everywhere !
By the way days, when is the "fight club" AKA Presentation night from the best behaved club in Gawler again ? Hate to miss all the action, we've got a spare phone box for hire in Freeling if your interested.

Freelings best 5 or 6 are all pretty good, then another 7 or 8 A grade fooballers, but the last 7 or 8 needs topping up. Most of the last lot probably wouldnt get an A grade game at another BLG club
