Congratulations to Jazz Wilson and Hummocks, awesome effort and thoroughly deserved the win. An unreal effort if we think back a few months. Hopefully Jareds knee isnt a write off although it didnt look good, gutsy effort to play on and win the game for them. Well done Brahamy on the BOG medal. Great year by the Magpies also, but couldve been so much better. Shattering!
Congratulations to the Mallala FC, hosted the one of the best GFs we've seen in a few years, oval was in great nic and catering and facilities were first class.

Right...... lets talk cricket!

I am also surprised that Jon Clarke didn't get a game.

(3)
In the reserves it is practically Mallala V Mallala because Two Wells have the Lamonts whilst Hamley have the Naulty's who all couldn't get a game here at Mallala because they aren't favourite sons. Now that they are playing at other clubs and getting good game time they are turning out to be very good players and we should take some credit because they orignially played for us until we didn't want them. Now look at them, They are playing in a Grand Final, I guess thats what we at Mallala deserve for not playing them.

(1)
yes Matty was a recuit, and in important finals your club generally picks the best team. Is it the same at United???? Hence Matty is very unlucky and is first emergency today!
Not sure what your talking about with clearing players MC but Willy Searle hasnt wanted to play for United for too years and United wont clear him, not sure what you have to gain from a player that dont want to be there  Maybe there's a lesson there. Tough decsions need to be made to get the best team on the park!!

(2)
Jon Clarke pinged a quad last week. Very unlucky.

(3)
The Mallala boys playing elsewhere! I think most people would agree that if they wanted to play elsewhere and play off in B grade GF or lesser A grade sides where they want to be the star player, then they can go whereever they want. B grade premierships are a bonus, however the A's is and should always be the priority.

Donkey, I was merely translating into common english the GOOD post by cfm. No need to get personal mate.

Good game to watch Saturday! Not the most skillful game but no side was ever more than 2 goals up. Hummocks played good hard man on man football and were the better side on the day. Congratulations to the Eagle Boys =D> .

Will we see a return of the great Wedgetail to this forum???????????

He is now feeling vindicated - Mallala made a few football mistakes (not on the catering or bar takings - probably picked up a lazy $6k which my club and 5 others could have done nicely with thanks....) - did the home ground advantage work against them? - were they complacent and over confident thinking it was at home so made a fundamental mistake in selection - picking unfit players? Redheaded monty was at 30% at best - could hardly walk off the ground when interchanged, Moffat was not well either and was at maybe 50%. CFM reckons they gave HWE no respect - could be right - they looked over confident to me.

Liked the game of Hardie - for a small frame he put himself in 100%.

CFM I thought I saw you playing on Saturday at Mallala - got a bit of the ball at critical times? Was I mistaken?

i think i might hve too much alcohol running through my system still as i wrote a magnificent post that disappeared. Oh well. im gonna wriite it again cos its too important for you blokes to try and live your lives without reading it :D
mama told me to be humble so i will do the best i can. Bad luck maggies, you battled all year, but the better, hungrier, more committed side won on the weekend. you beauty. Everyone wrote us off. i think back to some posts last year from some members of clubs who love to throw out the coin, that the eagles were done and dusted. too old, too slow. how does 01, 03, 05, 06 and 08 flags sound for a team that is done and dusted. And the decade hasn’t finished yet.
And to those mallala supporters who have been on the bald eagles back week in weeko out, about giving them a fist pump, did you get a chance to see it on the weekend. I wasn’t sure if you saw the first one through the egg on your faces so I threw a few extra ones in just for good measure.
Wasn’t it great to see the coach of the opposition collecting cans after the game. His obvious disappointment of running out of money to pay his players in the last quarter was evident. Good to see he is raising money for next year already so they can have another successful year of being close, but not close enough. I wonder if he still thinks no.19 gets no where near the ball.
Well, btter run another ice cold beer past my jaw after a cheap shot on Saturday. Good to see at least one player showed a bit of hardness.

For those that don't understand this I have taken some time to translate this into english :D

I, CrazyFootballMadman can confirm that the player missing out this week is Matt Saunders. Not sure why we recruited him if we are only going to stuff him around playing him up and down from the A's to the B's. Us being Mallala and having a history of not clearing players, poor Matt might have to stand a year out of footy if he wants to play elsewhere. It should have been obvious earlier in the year that no matter what this bloke did he was always going to struggle to get a game ahead of Griffiths who is a favourite son here at Mallala. I am also surprised that Jon Clarke didn't get a game.

In the reserves it is practically Mallala V Mallala because Two Wells have the Lamonts whilst Hamley have the Naulty's who all couldn't get a game here at Mallala because they aren't favourite sons. Let me know if I got this right or wrong cfm, I did my best! Maybe next time use punctuation such as full stops and that big long thing at the bottom of the key board is called a space bar. It comes in handy sometimes.

PS: I see festy has done the same thing but I spent so long doing this I will still post it

Good one wedgie. Did Amos end up playing? I tried to ring him Saturday afternoon to get the result but I guess he had better things to do than talk to me. Is anyone going to put up a run down of the game or do I have to wait for mum to send me The Producer?

moz didnt play. he handled it pretty well. needs a recon unfortunately but he did get best on sat night when he came out in his bra and string. Gave younng smokin a chance to come into the side for his first flag. when we win so many its nice to share them all around.
as for the liver and overnight bag aces, the liver must earn its stripes, and if you see my overnight bag hiding with yours, can you let me know. i forgot where i had put my mrs sunday. she found me again though.

That's very unfortunate for the big fella. Didn't he do his achillies in the GF the other year? Bad time of the year to do it, means he doesn't really have much chance of playing next year. Muckhole obviously didn't play then?

Saw the Longies boys at the footy yesterday, would they be the underacheivers of the year?

the beauty of technology is we can sit in the bar and still access the net. you might get this sort of technology come your way soon. Truss probably shouldnt have got in the best players but one thing he has got going for him is he is not celebrating a B GRADE premiership. Should set your bar higher in your neck of the woods. as for being gay, good luck to him. why wouldnt someone tap his bum. have you seen our cute it is.
oh by the way, we did it for grandpa. and can you answer me one thing, who really wants to cross your bridge. if i want to go back in time ill just rent an old movie. not really a highlight of my life travelling 60 km to end up in no mans land. Just a tip for the future, if you cant grow grass on your oval, putting asphalt down is not going to make it any softer you morons
