Tasman lost to Toddies in the A's, I think Donga took three, but the wickets were shared... All out for 114 Tasmans, and only had 48 on the board at Drinks.

Different story in the Two's, with Chook Fauser scoring 113 out of 196, and Rob Humphries took 4/2, and Tassies won by about 40 runs.

How could Charlton lose to waybacks? It isn't January yet?

I just heard the interview with Neville Starke on the radio. It is not hard to work out whose side Jason Regan is on.
Neville I can assure you we have over 2,000 members and it is growing. Congratulations on being elected again but don't for one minute think we are going to ease up! and that goes for you all! Anyone can join Neville just go to www.plrara.com.au I will personally pay your $5

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Off topic a bit (being a sports forum), but when are the local councillors voted on? Or has that happened?

I didn't hear the Starkey interview but I did hear the interview with Fowler on Friday CU. I thought the host didn't have a clue.
A lot of the votes have been counted media park, 2 councellors have been confirmed as they already have enough votes. The rest of the votes are counted tommorow I believe.

League Meeting tonight Will the Mortlock Shield be going to Wudinna?
It appears that may be the case especially as Port Lincoln only has one team
in the Comp so I presume that is one vote.
Can't wait Wudinna in June !

I doubt it will get voted in. If it does you may as well end the Mortlock Shield. How many people from Port Lincoln would make the drive up there to watch it. = 0

Ken have you heard anything on a new gate admission price being looked at for next season?

Where is everyone supposed to stay?? Or do we drive up both days?? Wudinna Hotel be able to cater for the throng of people that normally fill the Northern, Pier and Lincoln after the final game on the Saturday??

Logisitically can not happen, and nor should it....

Not so sure about that KWF. I would have thought that a high % of the players love coming to Lincoln. They their bring their wives, girlfriends, families as spectators and to go shopping etc, making it a break away from the norm. And then there are the lads who come down for something different also ;)
Panther has hit the nail on the head. Logistically impossible with the numbers that go to it (except for Ceduna being possibly (?) able to handle the accomodation.) Remember it's not a day trip like Kinlough or PAM cup.
Sure the other leagues would like to host it for the $ to be injected, but wanting and getting are 2 different things and you can't run what you can't run. Commonsense will prevail.
