Leighton 2 votes off making it 2 U17s medals - played only 8 games - kids a real talent.
That would be Aaron Williams, captain of the colts who would of missed several games while up playing A's.

he made an interesting acceptance speech along the lines of "i wouldnt like to thank anyone else because i'm the one who won this"

Joel would be mad not to play. Given the same situation I reckon I'd be doing everything possible to make it back to play in a Grand Final for my home club, I guess it depends on whether the coach is willing to play someone who has trained with the group for a few months. Not a real tough one for Jared though given its Joel, and HWE lack a little depth.

There's no chance Jazz will leave Muckhole out of the side. He would be in their top 5 players, even if slightly unfit. After watching the Eagles last week, I don't think they'll have the firepower to beat Mallala. Just try and make it a close one for the spectators!!

Swamp Donkey wrote:Well well well who would have thought HWE Vs Mallala in this years GF. A lot wrote off HWE before this season and even in the early stages. Its a credit to Jazz and the eagles for making to the playoff for the big one tommorrow. Credit to Mallala too maintain such consistent footy for a couple of years. I think it has panned out about right with the best two sides playing off in the big one. United would be bitter about missing out, given they should really be there given the talent they retained and recuited this year and Balak threatened again until September again this year, but were ordinary in that 1st semi.
Personally I dont think you can write off HWE tommorrow, stating the obvious a bit I know, but a lot seem to have written them off again in September. They will be super competitive which is all you need to be in GF. There is always the threat of complacency and feeling the pressure as favourites going in to a GF, so it will be interesting to see how the magpies respond to that, given that HWE have nothing to loose. Expect a few surprises, Cica to play up forward more this week and Reidy to spend more time up there too given his strong final quarter in the 2nd semi. With plenty of finals experience throughout thier side I'm tipping the eagles to get up by 8 points tommorrow, with Sam Jericho to kick 5 and David Barnes to win the BOG medal with 4 goals!!
Amos Wilson IN or OUT ???
