Well done to Hummocks on the weekend. Played good footy for 3 and a half quarters which will beat our half a quarter most days of the week. Pretty shattering to lose such a tight game to the only goal kicked into the wind all day, but the better side won and good luck to both Hummocks and Mallala next week. I just hope hummocks can make it a close one to keep the crowd interested but unfortunately I can see Mallala winning by 10 or more.

Matty Young, well no one picked that one. Not to say he doesn't deserve it but I guess why we didn't pick it is because his team has really struggled all year. Congratulations Youngy, if there is one warrior in this comp that ploughs on week after week no matter what situation the game is in then Matty is your man. Fantastically hard player who always plays only the ball and I'm sure Virginia would love to have about another 3 or 4 of him to be really competitive every week.

As for the streaker, well, thanks to whoever sent the footage in cause I didn't get to see it (the ball was in my area) but I did hear the crowd and knew something was going on. In hindsight I think it helped us stop Hummocks' momentum as it wasn't until after this that we started to play some decent footy.

no doubt if they get good footage a call may be in to the trainer in the video that called for the stretcher.
if only it was in the mallala game goodie.

A Balak lad wins the U17s I think - who was it HazBeen? Williams??

Leighton 2 votes off making it 2 U17s medals - played only 8 games - kids a real talent.

That would be Aaron Williams, captain of the colts who would of missed several games while up playing A's.

I heard Goodie usually wears a skirt to work anyway  . Would be more unusual if he turned up wearing normal clothes
