Postman.... reading your posts I get the feeling that you don't like Dale Wilson ?? :-s

Actually I'm a little confused... you don't like Dale, or you aren't happy that he's joined the GSFL and/or that he's followed Steve Hill??

Sorry I just don't understand your post/s O:)

(PS: Yes I know I'm not tatts and that's who your post was directed at....Sorry to butt in :D )

Postman, he's got a lot to get out of coaching the McLaren B grade, there are a lot of up and coming juniors who are going to be playing their first year of seniors footy.

There isn't a lot more he could achieve if he stayed and coached in the SFL, I mean honestly how many good close games would you get week in week out in that league with a sixteen team comp.

The standard drops away after the top eight or so teams.

You've got to be kidding if you reckon the B grade in the GSFL is around the same standard as the C grade in the SFL, by the sounds of it I don't reckon you've seen too many games then.
Having played in both leagues in the past I think I can safely say that most GSFL B grade teams would beat any of the C grade teams from the SFL easily.

Your obviously a very annoyed Morphett Vale spectator or player due to the fact that your entire senior coaching group have left your club.

So A Mum,
What is a meet the coaches all about?
How many people turned up and how did you meet the coaches?

Was everyone in a line ....like when the queen meets people, everyone bows as they shake hands and walk past.
Did training start as well?

Who organised it?

Mr Magoo, Mr Magoo, Mr Magoo !! :D

Yes everyone was in a line and we did exactly that :prayer:

Was just a night where the new coaches could introduce themselves to the players/supporters etc and let everyone know about their backgrounds and what will be happening in the future.

The club was filled to the rim with most of our senior players and quite a few Senior Colts ready to hear what the new coaching staff had to say. It was a very good atmosphere with a sausage sizzle incorporating mingling with the coaches, Senior and Junior committees, each other and having a few laughs as well.

Was great !!! Nothing but positive vibes :partyman:

No we didn't start training.

It was organised by Hilly and the senior committee.

O:)

it doesn't matter what you call it, it is what it is, but coming out of juniors to seniors is hard the training is harder, the footy is harder, getting a game is harder, you have work, can get on the piss(legally), can go to night clubs etc, to play A grade footy is hard its not just a right of passage because you were a good junior, i agree some kids do take longer to develop but they also need to do the work on and off the track to warrant getting a game if they do the work they will be rewarded.

I think you just summed up life too hereforthebeer.

Football much like life.....Hard work = reward O:)

I guess that KK and Hereforthebeer are 2 of the fittest guys at McLaren
If not, you 2 better get started now
NOT MUCH VALUE TALKING THE TALK IF YOU AREN'T WALKING THE WALK

Eagles 23 I can assure you the SFL top 4 B grade is a very good standard but the other 10 are absolutely useless so your assumption is correct

Postman you sound like a bitter and twisted man and I think Eagles23 has summed up what has attracted Dale to McLaren
Get over it POSTY

You are a dead set wanker! Have you even seen any GSFL reserves? The top 6 or 7 was only separated by a few games, not as close as the Senior Colts though I admit. The game between Compass and McLaren in the finals was cracker. If you don't like our clubs in the GSFL, then get off our sites you squid!

What are you basing your comments on postman?? The SFL comp is so one sided its not funny yet you feel the need to bag the GSFL comp?????? The top 3 GSFL B grade teams would beat most B grade SFL teams and be very competative with the finals sides. . Turn your brain on before typing buddy.

Postman you're a bloody tosser mate. It blokes like you that make it fun to leave the front gate open during letter delivery time so that my Rotty gets fed.
I seem to remember our top A grade side (McLaren South) in the GSFL last year towelled up Morphies who were supposed to be No Uno in the SFL, this would indicate to me that the GSFL is a better more even comp than the SFL. From where I sit some of your top B grade sides would have knocked over the bottom A grade side, Gee that makes for a great comp. Now you should start to see why Dale and Steve and Russell have gone to McLarens.
