BREAKING NEWS - apparently the latest is that Drug Deal park aka Dog shit park has been given the go ahead for the filming of the next instalment of Underbelly. Apparently, The royalties from this deal, could get Sladey to coach next year. :D

That sort of performance has been accepted for far too long at the dog track and hard descisions need to be made. Maybe we need a clean slade and start afresh and move on the core group that have been a big part of our largely unsuccessful 1st decade in this century before they infect the next generation of players with their mental approach to finals. We have lots of promising kids to fill the void.

Sounds like the local talent has improved at Angaston.

Was a aweful day at the office for Craig Dawe and his troops yesterday. Was a very sombre affair back at the clubrooms last night and everyone seemed shell shocked that the season was over.

Brad Taylor , Daniel Jenner and Kym Vivian seem set to move on to greener pasteurs. Brad going to Modbury , Jens to the Amateur league and Burley stepping into the world of prefessional body building. We wish them all the best.

Craig Dawe wouldnt be feeling to safe about 2010 , the word is the position will be advertised and Craig will need to apply again , all football coaching positions will be readvertised to make sure each grade has the best possible coaches available.

I hope this is knocked on the head immediately, as this is another example that Panther Park is the most superior venue for all finals football and you cant pick and choose when you want to use the great venue.
Can't have ya cake and eat it aswell Nobby.

If it rains more this week Williamstown will be in great shape
Would have thought the BL&G would have chose somewhere better to play the biggest game of the year so far

Norm11..... Where did the Sponge whirl wind tour find himself yesterday?
:D

I think I saw Sponge eating some spare ribs at Virginia Oval yesterday.

Id be dissappointed if there wasnt something to report, after last year Herzick forgetting where the toilets were at the den and Centrals trying to drag ex coaches off the podium dropping the bucket on everyone. :D I have heard Prousey is attending. As far as our two man race goes I reckon it will be Leske and Eichner in a toss up, followed closely by Willoughby, Kemp and Mensforth, then a fair gap.

Also, if the relocation is given the rubber stamp, we may have to make some other arrangements for JIHAD against Barossa. Because i'm not providing suicide bombers at Angaston and blowing up my own venue, the arrangement was only Willamstown. :D

Fair enough leave the blowing up of your grounds to other parties.
Presentation day .
Back to the creek it is.

There was no sombre affair back at the clubrooms on saturday night, due to the Gawler Show being on so no one could get in.
Craig Dawe's job would definately be safe, sometimes the results dont always come down to the coach.

Its been a great effort this year by Angaston and coach Craig Hadden but they havent finished yet. They will give Nuriootpa a shake in the Preliminary.

Where do i start? Go the Panthers, what a win against a side that didnt even deserve to make the finals with an effort like they put in!

The recruit of the year Matty Dawes was sensational and best on ground for me as was The B Train up forward his presence for us is great for the team and the supporters. Both Pechies and Watto were great too.
Still have my doubts about Kurtz, yes he loves reading the play down back plays that role well but if he continues to put in performances like ducking his head when going for a mark like saturday and not giving out the shepards and doing the one percenters, then sides like Nuri and Tanunda will eat us. Take a leaf out of your coaches book Kurtz, he is one of the finest fearless backmen of all time at the Angaston Football Club.

Heard a very strong rumour on Saturday at Tanunda that Nuri's Nat Salter is in talks with the Kapunda Bombers about a playing coach role for next year, but has not told Nuri and is trying to keep it on the quiet for now.

Swooper wrote:Pinchy your B's tried hard up to 3/4 time in a good old B grade slog. Thought Cotton at full back went well and was a little surprised that he was moved from there and then tanunda started to kick goals. Good fair game with only one spot fire that was fairly minor.

Swooper

Yeah spot on there swoop, the B's game was a far more entertaining affair than the A Grade one couldn't question the committment of either side. If the Donny's had been able to manage a couple more goals down hill in the 3rd it would have been interesting, but the big game experience of the maggies was very good to see them in control of the game.

Cotts was good he owns the big stage but unfortunately we had to rob peter to try and paul with the big fella couldn't seem to get the ball past half forward up hill.

Little bit of biffo and a few reports just before 3 quarter time gave the donnybrooks faithful a warm feeling that things might be back on track at the red V

Good to see about three Donnybrooks all just walking off once the siren sounded after the B Grade game on Saturday. Instead of waiting for their team mates.

They must made a few appointments with tanunda players behind the changerooms after the game.
