The boys were extremly disapointed with yesterdays result. Credit where credits due, mypo were too good. I think yesterday did show Jervios' depth, no ewer, braun, beard, gazzola, kluske, fidge. Stimpson & hill played no part after half time and it was only the third quarter that cost the Bluds. I hope everyone stays at the Bluds 4 09 but only time will tell...

The Bluds had nothing left on the bench for most of the 2nd half, and some blokes were playing on one leg, but taking nothing away from Mypo who were the better team on the day. I hope they can make the big one. Imps will go a long way to winning this week by manning up on Pedler...didnt see him have many contested possessions all day. Pretty clean game except for the big fella for Mypo (? #25) who didnt see much of the footy, but gave away more free kicks than he had possessions. Hard to believe players of that quality, or lack thereof, actually get paid. Hard to see anyone beating Ramblers in two weeks time.

yeah was a good game to watch. after a slow start mypo seemed to have too many options around the ground and jerv were left looking lethargic and unfit. i think mannums big oval was perfect for mypo.

dutchy are you the guy that #25 sent off with a crook shoulder after a hard tackle??
i didnt think he was that ordinary. i believe he has only just returned from missing 6-8 games with a hamstring injury. i think you could point a lot of fingers at jervoi$' paid players after thier display yesterday too....

good luck to mypo in the finals. after sat's game, i think they are the only ones who are a chance to take it up to ramblers.

also which pedlar are you talking about? the CHB or the ruckman.

i thought bruce lee was rucking for jerv at one stage when their big fellah went up with a fly kick to the chest of the mypo bloke! funny looking stuff...

The ground did look to suit Mypo well, and they used the footy better than the Bluds without question.
Good luck to #25, but if you thought he played well then we were watching a different game. Big difference between a "hard" tackle and a spear tackle to try and prove you are somehow tougher than your opponent. I know its somehow within the rules of the game, but its also bloody dangerous and can/did cause serious injury to players.
Not taking anything away from their win which was well deserved, and I'm sure the Bluds players are looking back thinking what may have been. I hope Mypo take it up to the chooks, but i cant see anyone beating them based on current form.

Thats Joe Pedler, until last year he was playing CHB for Woodville West Torrens. He played mainly reserves for WWT last year but before that was their centre half back in the league side, very good player. Him and Luke Harrowfield have had some great battles this year should be another one this week. I think the problem is going to be that they have no-one to stand Michael Sumner at Full Forward and if he can kick 6 or 7 might just help Imps get over the line.

Its funny when you see these players like Pedler playing in RMFL. He looks to be a good player, and obviously has SANFL experience, but you just cant imagine him playing on someone like Brant Chambers for example in the SANFL.
Sounds like a couple of new FF's were found in the league this year with Sumner kicking bags. Good luck to Trev in the count, hope he polls well. Should be a big night if he takes home the medal!

Maybe thats is why he was playing reserves last year??? But I remember watching him play when we used to go down and watch the SANFL and he was pretty good, he played in their 2006 premiership side. I know he wanted to play with his brothers but it just seems a bit of a waste of talent playing back in the RMFL when he is clearly good enough to play SANFL.

Should be a good night he should go close but there are a lot of Ramblers that may poll well, but they also may take votes from each other.

Ramblers were very good on Saturday and I agree either Imps or Mypo will struggle to beat them. Mypo has beaten them once and got close once but I believe Luke Button or Mousey were not playing. These two have to be the two of if not the two best players in the league. They have great hands and are so athletic, I'm not sure there is anyway any team can stop them short of begging Sturt to take them back.

Should be an intersting weekend but I (as biased as I am) believe all three imps teams playing will go through.

So 4 Imps teams in the grand final and winning Under 12's that would be a great season, haha,
win a couple in the grand final sounds good aswell.

Disapointing i didnt catch the juniors fight on the weekend, woulda been good 2 see, taliem are always dirty and imps dont have a good record with them this yr, if ur saying the 15s was a big fight, dunno if you saw the Under 17s game mid way thru the yr, Imps under 17s play with a far bit of Pride and Flare, they wont take s***t.
U17s - Imps vs Taliem (rd 12) biggest juniors fight i have ever seen, we had players assaulting umpires and water boys in on the fight. all at 3qt time

ah and by the way it is Jervois vs Ramblers in 17s Ramblers beat Mannum

I did see that fight yes, it wasn't really anyone assaulting an umpire the umpire gave a player a card and he hit his hand away. I think the fight down and Meningie in the U/17's was bigger after one Imperial player was king hit behind play.

That day at Menigie was the dirtyiest under 17s game i have ever seen, Imps start kicking some goals, then this imps guy kicks a goal runs back into the centre and gets punched in the back of the head by a menigie guy running past, Knock'd the young Imp lad out cold, then it was on, all on all, then when its all finished the dudes that got K.O'ed hops up and runs this menigie guy down, showed some guts all of us senior guys got around him after, well that was after he went on and played B grade, concussed and was Knocked out for 10 seconds, Stuipd kids

Ramblers dominated all year, so its no surprise they were right up there, although top 3 positions does sound a little strange.

Rigney would have been a deserved winner if he won, but playing as a key forward predominatly makes it difficult, as seen with Shiell and Chiko a few years back.

You are correct Liam O'Neil won the medal on 21 votes 2nd was tied with Luke Button, Ben Quinn, Tyson Mattews and Joe Pedler all on 14. So a Rambler winner and 2 Runner ups from Ramblers, they were the best team all year and this showed in the votes.

The B grade was no surprise with the great man Dogga Garret taking out the medal with 20 votes and Rudeger of Mannum second on 14 votes. Not bad from Dogger seeing he played the last 3 games in A Grade, but was a standout all year and should the Imperial Reserve Best and Fairest by a record margin I imagine.

Anyone know how many votes Hogarth from Tailem polled? Presumably he was the leading vote getter for the Eagles..

I keep hearing what a 'great' club Jervois and how guys dont play there just for the money so surely most player will remain at the club. You cant win the flag every year.

I don't know if anyone saw or cares for that matter but how are some of the umpires that are getting a gig in the finals? The two umpires that umpired the B Grade at Mypo on the weekend were terrible. They were terrible during the year and surely the umpire co-ordinator knows that and knows they shouldn;t be umpiring a crucial game like a 2nd semi final. Then to make matters worse they had three of the better umpires in the RMFL running the boundary. Surely umpiring is not a caper of giving everyone a go come finals time no matter how good or bad they are. There are some good umpires in the RMFL and surely they should be getting a lot of the finals, even if they had one good one and one of the not so good ones would be better than what was dished up in the B Grade on Saturday.
