Any front runners in this department emerging at the den?

Former premiership player and reserves coach Simon Head has been in meetings regarding the top job. I am led to believe if a agreement is struck that the committee stay out of football matters pen will be put to paper next week.

Angaston
Greg Bain, Craig Harvey, Brandon Kurtz, Andrew Pech.
Barossa District
Darren Sharp, Ross Christie, Heath Commane.
Freeling
Steven Eichner,
Gawler Central
Scott Hahn, Clint Hill, Luke Howard,
Kapunda
Brad Taylor.
Nuriootpa
Ryan Foulis, Nathan Salter, Jarrod Tregenza.
South Gawler
Nil
Tanunda
Ben Britton, Barry Kaesler, Ben Newberry, Andrew Prior, Luke Wells, Tom Schiller,
Nick Schmidt, Alex Kennedy, Malcolm Greenwood.
Willaston
Shaun Baker.

Of the 25 listed there if they pick 21 or 22 in the team of the year - who are the 3 or 4 blokes that will finish in the top 10 in the medal but miss the team of the year.

My guesses were - Britton (T), Harvey (A) and Christie (B).

All three would be unlucky, but Commane would be the first choice CHF ?, Harvey may have missed a couple to many games compared to the other onballers and Christie very unlucky to be left out over Howard.

Last coach to take a south senior side to a GF maybe the only in this decade, could be a good option does have the charisma roodog is looking for.

pretty sick of all the commentry and hype surrounding Angaston on this forum. feels like 90% of the posters come from that ugly hill. The facts are they havent got within 40 pts of Tanunda (other loss was 81pts) nor have they got within 29 pts of GC (other loss was 49 pts). None of the 3-6 players claimed missing each week are worth this balance of scoreline. Angaston posters need to take a deep breath otherwise it will be a long way to fall come sat arvo.

Change of topic please... Can we talk about Ben Brittians injury, any news there? Are GC full strength going into sat?

Steam Train.... Any relation to the 'B-TRAIN'
I'm more concerned talking about Angaston, rather than Britton or GC being full strength.
Does anyone know what is happening at Angaston this year.:supz:

If the weather comes in rough like predicted and Angaston can get them to play on their own terms they can win. the longer they can stay in front the more GC will tense up, cant wait to see Kingys "encouragement" if that happens :D On a dry deck, in a shoot out GC should win, bu I reckon it will be wet.
Tanunda to belt Nuri, they wont be caught napping on this one.
Whoever gets to tHe GF against Tanunda will lose by about 6. Even without Britton and Agars they should be too good. How is britton Swoop ? Nuri are a good, even side , but I doubt they have the game breakers to take it out this year. But if your there anything can happen !

Ooooh, they trained well.....going into a final?
Wow.....Ango may as well not show up then.
If you can't train well and be upbeat going into a final you shouldn't be there.
Clown.
Whatever happens Saturday, will be a big day, Biggest crowd Gawler wouldv'e seen this year,
Think the 2 teams go in even, should be a great final.
I for 1 will be happy to get on here and congratulate Gawler if they can beat Ango,
But we are gonna be 1 hell of an opponent at Tanunda (our 2nd home ground).
P.S- The reason there are so many Ango posters on here is we love our team, town and footy,
and are a proud and parochial club, perhaps you could take a leaf for your own book Nackers.

The 22 man squad Wack assembled last night looked real good , full strength.

The Sherrins were buzzing around and and there was alot of yap coming from Craig Dawes troops last night, the Panthers will be getting a mauling at the hands of Tigers this weekend, i am putting the housing trust home on it.

We are very confident and lucky really to have Angaston fall into 4th spot. Would of been alot more concerned if Willaston had made the four and had to front them with a head of steam.

Think you will find we Ango finished 3rd there Ms.Pac-man,
So it was Gawler who 'fell' into 4th.
Was the yap predominantly sledging coming from Kingy's mouth?

shoot it, you have kurtz in your team of the year, but the other day you stated he wouldn't be in the leagues top 50??? the mind boggles??? how does this work??? I'm guessing your not real bright

Tomorrow will be an absolute cracker of a final with both teams very confident of a win, am expecting some fireworks early, so dont be late or you could miss the good stuff!! Haven't seen the oval yet and am wondering what it has come up like? know it was a bit messy a few weeks back!

My tip: Ango 15 points
