The insinuation that Trav is expecting life membership is totally off the mark and was never suggested he thought so either. I thought the idea of this was to stir conversation, its obviously stirred yours. My Job is done.. TRUSS for PRESIDENT!!
Wizzard, You're ripping me off!!!
Considered me lightened.....

Classy person is munger! The way he carries on is rediculous. Any runner that consistently interferes with players needs to be kicked out. He has been reported before but got off. I guess thats what happens when your from Balak. They can get away with anything!

Its not just the way the players carry on the field or the old men under the verandah conduct themselves or the fact you never feel completely welcome in the club. Its the way they serve you at the bar!
You would think you would want to keep opposition supporters happy when they come to your clubhouse for a beer (especially when there is about 40 in there), but to blatantly not serve you when you have your money out is a joke. To top it off when I wanted a second beer (stupidly) I put my empty on the bar with a twenty next to it and said to the barman "Another TED's thanks mate" which he took the empty then served someone else and never came back! Five minutes later I got a drink! Absolute disgrace.

Swamp Donkey wrote:Eagles were impressive Saturday and have lifted the bar again for finals time. Mallala played 15 mins of good quality footy, which is obviously not going to win you too many games especially this time of year. Eagles looked good, threw the footy around well, and handled the greasy ball just a bit better toward the latter stages. They certainly threw a spanner in the works for United who would have thought they'd earnt a second chance in the 2nd semi this week, given their awesome win over the all-conquering peckers. Great win by United. Starting to finally gain some momentum with their playing group. Good to see C. Faulkner utilised to ease some pressure on the panic button last week, always a handy inclusion and one you couldnt knock back. Looking at the scorecard it seemed to be a pretty convincing win all over the park by United. Did all the Evans boys play?
Interesting to see how this weekend pans-out, its probably the most even finals series we've had for a while.
My Tips:
Mallala Vs Hummocks: Mallala by 8 points
United Vs Balaklava: United by 41 points
Heard a rumour that United have called upon the Federal Police to monitor the movements of Che CC and Pauly this September. Any truth MC, MU, DB?
