Im tipping Bays to beat Centrals by 6-7 goals, Souths to upset Roos by a goal or so and Norths to win by under a goal.
Top 6 at end of minor round games:
Roopena
West
North
South
W/bay
Central
With a Roopena v North Whyalla Grand final
Chad Clothier to win the Whyalla News Medal followed by Shannon Winders and Greg Feibig

Is Clothier consistent enough to poll enough votes? I know he's a great player but I reckon North may have too many blokes stealing votes off him.

Fiebig always stands out. West without Leigh Symons will have a new vote-getter come through.

McIntosh is more than likely going to win his third IMO. He loves Whyalla footy and plays his own game more often than not. Athleticism really stands out.

Some very good points about Chad Clothier. I just think he stands out due to being a match winner.

Also didn't think Leigh Symons has left Westies as he played on the weekend in the west end cup? Who is he supposedly playing for?

Starting with Centrals V Bays on Friday night ? I think the bays to win by 4 goals
Then Roo's V South's ? I think this will be closer than i first thought but Roo's by 22 points
Finally West V North ? Another close one but North by 17 points
Your thoughts people !!!!!

Bays should get up. Centrals are traditionally slow-starters.

If Roos get a full side on the park, should win. Agree, should be close.

Westies had a great pre-season. Like their chances of a round one upset.

3/3 Hoo yeah.

Looks like Oliver is off to a good start for Roopena in an absolute hiding of South. South must have had some outs I would think.

West did as I thought they would and got over North by 17 points.

And Centrals again got off to slow start going down to the Bays by around 5 goals.

Did I see the D Colson for Bays kicking 5 goals? Is that Dwayne? Wasn't he playing for Westies?

Congratulations to him. I'm pretty sure he'll fit right into North Melbourne's style. He fit in very well at Port Adelaide in the league side, I've got him in my Dream team and Super Coach.

He kicked swag of goals last year and probably could be considered a catalyst in North winning the premiership last year.

The local rag his him playing on Friday night in the Roos/Magpies game. We all know this is wrong. He will more than likely front up on Saturday night against Richmond.

How has Nick Warren started the season with Roopena? I see he will face up against Russell Tucker this weekend, which is ironic because Langhorne Creek and Strath (they're old sides respectively) are playing in the local derby the Saturday as well.

Looks like "No Prokopec = No Norths"
Losing the first 4 games this season looks like the above statement is true !!!!
