Thanks DW.
I need a bit more fitness, but looking forward to this season.
Felt good out there and pretty comfortable across half back.
Loxton umpire was pretty dodgy in B's.

Was pretty impressed with Loxton's young side in the A grade.
Cohen Thiele obviously gave them a lift, but I thought they played pretty well.
Mitchell Fazekas killed Adam Dunhill at full forward.
Renmark just stopped in the last quarter, pretty poor effort and I know B. Exelby was not too happy at all....

6 hours to drive? dont know what speed you drive dw to take that long!

Dangler's met you - he's the father of your vice captain. He said you don't drink - but there's a big difference between don't drink and don't drink beer isn't there!
Six hours - (I was talking the round trip).

Got some photos of you during the game. You guys got a fine system for photos in the paper?

BD - when did you change your name to Chuck Norris? It should be Chuck Up, Mr Crying Game.

all rfl games results decided under 3 goals. Is this the closely fought season that most of us were hoping for or did the first round just match up well?

What did you think of Crabbe first up?
Mr Arnold loved giving it to you.
That hanger of Ryan Proud's in the second quarter was pretty good too.
A worrying result for the Demons though, a loss and plenty of injuries.
And despite the protestations of both teams - I thought the umpiring was good from the bit i saw.

I didn't have a problem with the umpiring overall, but some of the 50m penalties they payed were ridiculous, the ump payed a free kick, to which our confused full back said "what?", in a non-aggressive way, BLEEEP! 50!
I mean, that's a joke.
I'm not into remonstrating things but saying "what?" in frustration is not abusive.
I think i had three hangers taken up me so take your pick as to what was good, and yeah, we were 5 goals up and smashing them, twice, but when three players are stretchered off, it makes it hard to run it out.
Loxton North kept pushing, and were duly rewarded, credit to them, I wouldn't call the result worrying, injuries happen, and with nine new players in the starting line up, it will take time to adjust and gel.
L North are by no means a bad side, they played well, a deserved win.

I think they'll bounce back this week, especially with Ricciuto in.
Although Loxton should regain Raph Liddle.
