Norm11 - Lets commit Jihad on Barossa District.
I've got a few planes and a few lads hiding out around the Willamstown area in readiness to meet 12 virgins.

So lets get it straight Norm.
1. Barossa District Football Club appointed you as Coach.
2. They have only paid you half of your yearly coaching fee.
3. They then gave you the nod to temporarily replace Nelson as the interim coach.
4. They went back on there word and replaced you with Twaits.
Correct?

1. Yes
2. Only paid me half of the agreed coaching fee, yes
3. They rang me and asked if i would do it and when i went back to them with a yes answer they told me they had found someone else with more experience, yes
4. The man i beleive who will coach the reserves next year, Twaits. yes.

No contract , just a verbal chat in the office about firstly how much if any is budgeted for a reserves coach, which there was, secondly the amount and then a question to me is that ok followed by a yes .
Does that make sense?

Damian Prouse - Another coach on the outer after 2009.
$4.55 - Shane Broad - Will the club go for a younger variaty of coach, has had successfully coached at A-Grade level and may be an appointment with a long term vision.
$5.20 - Rian Nelson - Lions may want to go for a seasoned BL&G coach if he parts company with the pups. Wants to coach again.
$6.25 - Matt Hermann - Seems to have his lobists backing from his Gawler Central contingency, although they can be very easily impressed.
$6.50 - Malcolm McGrath - Would the Mesiah be prepared to dust off the coaching board and bring the club back to their glory days.
$7.50 - Darren James - Can talk under water, has spent a little time at CDFC and may be looking to also start coaching senior footy in BL&G.
$19.00 - Ben Burgess - Looking for a chance of returning to a Blue & White variety after an apprenticeship in the APFL.
$25.00 - Jeff Brown - A real roughie, will the Lions try and lure the former coach from his CDFC role.
$30.00 - Kym Vivian - Just because underthepack thinks he can coach.

sounds like a club trying to save every penny no matter the cost and who they shaft. they will need it if losing major sponsor and bringin RJ on board for 20k. sounds to me like they are seriously pissing off a lot of loyal local clubmen and whilst RJ is there everything will be rosey but when hes gone and the club hits tough times again and that will happen, none of these loyal clubmen will be around to rescue the club.
very poor turn out in the club after the game saty night considering they had a good close last gasp win, lucky to be 30 there at 6 30, that tends to indicate the locals are disheartened with whats going on.

You could be right about saving money, but what they didnt pay me isnt going to sink or save them. Loike i said its not about the money its more the fact of people saying one thing and doing another. It realy frustrates me that people do that. It would be like me getting someone over to do a job for me, then saying sorry mate im only going to pay u half of what we decided on
