Recruit: (n)

1.A newly engaged member of a military force, especially one of the lowest rank or grade.
2. A new member of an organization or body.

I hate it when the media get it wrong.

keep an eye on bronte manuel this year. has't been able to train too much but is looking in good shape. hopefully will be given a bit of free reign in the midfield and not get the tagging role as often as last year.

Avery is new - he hasn't played at the club in five seasons ;)

Interesting B grade polling predictions.

Would have thought Dan Fisher and Ryan Bennett would be in the A grade though?

and how is ben avery's knee. going to be able to play round one?...

Liam will ruck, changing with Fisher.

Avery won't be playing round one. Maybe round three at best.

I will be, at least for a start. Very unfit.

So how will Renmark shape up in the A's? Your recruits sound pretty handy...

Gone alright in trial matches, but have been short on available players.
Will be the first hit-out for some and definitely the first hit-out with a decent side.

How's Loxton looking?

We'll have to have a beer after the match mate...

yeah mate, a beer sounds good.

I reckon you blokes are in with a good chance of knocking our A's off this weekend. It'll depend on how our younger blokes go.

As you've probably heard, we'll be without Jamahl, Bangers and Jesse, and maybe even Raph.

Will Bangers and Jesse line-up in the blue, red and white?

I would be surprised if they do. I think don't think either of them are that keen to play footy at all.

Interesting....

Couple of ripper games in the Independent league this week.

Will be interesting to see if Paringa can match it with Cobby.
They were right in it at 3/4 time in the corresponding match last year (mainly thanks to the bench coach!)

Wunkar v Lyrup should be okay too.
Especially if the Smith boys do decide to line-up for the Dogs.

If the smith boys join daniel at wunkar you could almost put them down for a flag.

What do u think. Big call?

They'd still have a long way to go to catch Cobby

BUT
If they can get those boys out there, along with Evans, then some others might come out of the woodwork, which is what they are hoping will happen.
Would love to see the Dogs win a flag...

massive call. wunkar have some reasonable players but had a long way to catch the rest of the comp. 3 players arent going to get wunkar a flag IMO, they need a heap of blokes to follow to help their depth which is their biggest down fall regardless of 1 whillas medallist or not

Yeah I reckon you're right Crushy.
While I hope they do go out there, I can't seem three players making that much of a difference.
Still if they do I reckon they'll make the four and who knows what can happen from there i.e. Paringa 2005.

Just got given a squad and put it in pretty much randomly.
Coach said he will be on the ball a bit more next week.
I caught him on the hop yesterday!
