Jervois had what would be considered a training run against Meningie yesterday. Back to playing some good team footy and played 4 good quarters. Was about 34 goals to about 5 or 6, with the game already over at quarter time, 9 goals to 1. Trevor was pretty awesome, especially in the first half, just couldn't miss! I think he had about 9 at half time and wouldn't have been far off 9 goals straight!!!
Jervois playing some young fellas at the moment who are playing some good footy and will be putting some pressure on those blokes due back. 9 A graders out from the Jervois team yesterday, so it was a good performance to win by that much and have potentially half a side out!

Well we can only hope he makes it back. I know he had a recent setback but here's hoping for the best, but you may have found out more than me last night...
Very low scoring in the TB v Mypo game and a mention of bad weather in the Mannum v Imps game, was it raining in both games?

At a guess, i'd say Brad Shiell would have been the last to kick that many.

wasnt raining in the Mannum vs Imperials game just very strong wind blowing a gail towards the netball courts 90% of players would of stuggle kicking a goal from 30 out in to the wind.

Its football related ,pretty bad but dont know how long he will be out. He hasnt played much footy this year.If he gets himself right may find it hard to get back in to the bluds mix.

another thing nearly everyone in the RMFL has been waiting for the Martin "Slowest Man Ever" Ballie has been droped from the A grade team and got a game in the B's and let me just add they lost because there where no good scoring fowards haha.. what a waste for Imps he was a 2 pointer and then Josh Charles hasnt really stood out massively for a 3 pointer.. some one correct me if im wrong with these points tho.. the only stand out for Imps in the recruitment bit would of been Daniel Girdham and he is starting to show some good football, but the other 3 might not see them self at Imps next yr if they keep up the way there going..

I went to watch today and he did play sturt reserves and went on early in the 2nd quarter and stayed on till very late in 4th quarter. o personally think he played a very good game and think he has the potential of being a very good footballer.

But Brodie Martin capped the day of with a great league game. never seen the kid play better.

Any one got any other write ups or anything about Round 14, not including Trev 14 goals and sealed himself the Mail Medal.
I would have to say its nearly a 2 horse race for the Mail Medal in my view, Trev Rigney and Luke Harrowfield with ALOT of dark horse's

This weeks games:

Imperials v Meningie - the Blues will be looking for a percentage booster, whilst Meningie will be wanting to minimise the damage, Imps by 21 goals.

Jervois v Mypolonga - looks like Jervois hit some real form last week, albeit against the bottom side. Mypo will be wanting to redeem themselves after their poor effort against the Eagles, Bluds by 31 - 40.

Tailem Bend v Ramblers - the Chooks haven't played a lot of games lately, so may be a little rusty early. Tailem will be wanting to continue their improved performances and want to put a good performance against one of the leading clubs in the league. Ramblers 61 - 70.

Imperials vs Meningie_---_ Meningie will be devostated with having to pay $20 petrol each to get beaten by around 120-140, there is one thing i would like to see out of this game and that is Imperials playing some more juniors in A grade, it is like there all just wanting success and not wanting a future. Imperials have only played one junior in 08. But Meningie will be hoping to keep the game closer than expected
Imps by 20 goals

Jervois vs Mypolonga_---_ Jervois will be ready to show another spectacular performance with the great man kicked better than anyone has in the RMFL for years. Mypo will be shattered and i dont think they have the commitment to rebound, the loss agianst Taliem hurt them bad.
Great Man Trev will kick another 10.
Jervois by 12 goals

Taliem Bend vs Ramblers_---_ Ramblers 2 games in a month and will be fit and ready to show that the rooster is better than the eagle but it wont be as easy as people think for the first 3 quarters, Taliem will be in touch with the Premiership Favrouites but then they will kick into overdrive and send the Eagles back to the shed. Taliems back line isnt strong enough to keep up with these top teams.
Ramblers by 8 goals

I think it will be interesting to see how many Trevor Rigney kicks against Mypo. I would imagine that if he has 4 or 5 to half time, that Joe Pedler would match up on him (that is if he isn't matched on him to start with), and given his SANFL experience he should be a reasonable match up.

I wouldn't think Joe has the foot speed to keep up with Trev, but that's just my opinion.

i dont think any player in the comp has the agility and leg speed of Yodik!

Deserves Jervois B&F but wont get it.
