Has Koch signed yet for 2010 or is he a chance at the main job at South Gawler?

i saw koch tonight at the cricket agm and he told me he is very much in the embrionic stages of negotiations with the willaston fc. he indicated to me in confidence that he and the club are poles apart at the moment but was confident they would come to an arrangement (hope he doesnt read this). if he not he said he had some other plans in the pipeline which he wasnt prepared to elaborate on but judging by all the talk on here those plans would possibly include sth gawler.

He'd be very happy that you've kept it to yourself then I guess!

will be catching up with him tomorrow night at another cricket meeting, maybe get an update. hopefully he hasnt read this and is still talking to me.

Daisy - Any word at the cricket meeting on the Koch and South rumour?
I assume that both parties may be having trouble with the finer details of the contract.
Callender should be quick to lock the great man in, as Kapunda are now looking to replace Spike.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

Osama wrote:Tanunda - Lubke. Took a long time to resign for 2009. Rumour has it some players want him gone. 80/20%Needs to win flag or he is gone
Nuri - Stafford. Would be the favouite for supercoach of the year. 95/5%100%
Angaston - Hadden, has a mortgage on the job from committe. Natural progression from 2008. 100% Would want to win a final with the cash being splurged. 75/25%
Central - Team on par with 2008, was the change of coach benificial. Hear that Slade may come back to coach in 2010. 60/40%I think you might be right here osama as much as i dont like to admit it, but unless wacka can get the boys to a grand final i think the year will be considered a failure
Willaston - Seelander, signed. Would want to take the side another step after no progression in 2009. Had a good look at what he needs for a tilt in 2010 .I think willaston have progressed this year, 7th -5th with what many said was a weaker side with no mcleans and coghill
Barossa - James. Done Unless the rebel bay 13 men take over the club and reinstate nelson.
South Gawler - VacantThomas favourite, or Vivian, Brandt, Lee, all on a hiding to nothing
Kapunda - VacantBig buckets Mckenzie is the hot tip
Freeling - Would assume that Prouse would be reappointed as the club is tanking for assualt on 2010. 60/40%

Osama, GCFC is very confident of getting Sladey back next year. The guy is dead set keen on putting something back into the club but it wont be at coaching level , he isnt ineterested just yet. One of the two brothers ( who look very similar ) that he is bringing with him from CD would be more chance of coaching to squeeze them all into the squad.

Its great news for the club in 2010 , will be very hard to shift Craig Dawe from the top spot if he can take the club to the top of the tree this year.

I have also heard Kapunda has approached John Platten for 2010.

Gaining the services of one of the brothers would be very wishful thinking Pac-Man.
Although, these boys would atleast bring a winning September culture to your club.
As for Kapunda, Platten is a living example of someone who could play, but couldn't coach.
I would think they may be looking for someone closer to home to coach, since they have spat out two coaches in as many seasons.

Ventured to Elliot Goodger Park to see the panthers have a good physical hit out with the Donny's.
It was the biggest crowd seen at Elliot Goodger with the Donnys 1999 premiership reunionin attendence.
I managed to catch up with an old sparring partner in the long sleeved Des Deuter.
The Apprentice once again took the cigar from the Master.
Unfortunately the 'B-TRAIN' didn't make the field and decided he would only play home games in the lead up to September.
Diddles Harvey was back to his pre-injury form and would have amassed 40+ touches and taken the 3 umpires votes.
Shaun Baker appeared to be the only real spark for the Donny’s, other than his siblings white line fever.
Pinch Hitter and Daysof. The punters were a little disappointed with Zoolanders inattention and lack of respect for the big fella's 250th, the big man won many games off his own boot for the snout!!!!

The game played out as the non event it was tipped to be with only 6 goals kicked up to half time made for very boring football.

I was interested to note your best players Daysof and Pinch Hitter.
You used James Harvey as a tag against Matt Dawes.
I found that interesting after talking to coach Hadden, he explained that Dawes was only using the game to get some kilometers in the legs after missing 5 weeks, moreso than finding the pill.

Unsure of your reference, but those who live by the sword, also die by the sword.
Particularly when administering a dictatorship.
I mean that in a positive sense, don’t get upset now.
I think I could also lease some land on the hill behind the changerooms and build a hideout bunker for myself and a few comrades.

Angatson have never been a team to fear in the 20 years i have been involved in the BL&G. Just one of those clubs like Barossa Districts that you can bring out the party tricks and build some percentage.

I put Angaston & Barossa Districts on a par with Eudunda when they were in the comp. Riverton - Saddleworth had more respect amongst the comp, was disappointing to see them go.

Platten has a sister living in Kapunda , if he is looking to coach again it could be on the cards.

hey daysof...

heard something on the weekend that got me a little bit interested... the donnies are in search of a half forward flanker who can kick goals from an A1 club in town... wouldn't you just look for a straight goal kicking full forward seeing as the only ones kicking all your goals at the moment are the midfielders who rest on the flanks lol...

also looking for a ruckman is another thing i heard... also found that quite interesting... which rosewall aren't you happy with... young or old...

would you care to enlighten or will you just say the rumour isn't true...
Life is what you make it... Live with no regrets...

The young fella pulled up a little sore after the city2surf marathon last week.
Should be ready to rock'n'roll this week.
Due to his sigma breaking down, he was only ever going to play home games on his return. It's is a little to far to hitch hike on away games.
