Can anyone please fill me in on who this jnr buzz is please? Plenty to say about him and he must be reasonable. Where did he play before coming home to lofty. SOunds as though he must enjoy the club, if he is keen to play for the devlies....

Great droppy,

have heard the same rumour, I tell you what if kersbrook don't win a premiership with those players running around there is something wrong!

Having one quality afl player doesn't prove to be effective, just ask hahndorf and loby, I am sure they are hating that decision, but get a group of them together and look out, all of a sudden there is quality on all lines.

I wonder how many games P James will play before wanting to belt someone in the head! The youngest of the brothers def loves to fist blokes behind play

That's always been a James tradition so I don't think anyone in Country div will be expecting any different.
How many games these blokes play will be interesting and as I've said before, I'll be surprised if Roger plays more than a handful.

jnr buzz is the infamous nathan petersan-gray. played jnr footy as a local for lofty. played u17 and reserves for sturt including runner up in best and fairest in 2003. same year pearce and monfries played for sturt. played for griffith in nsw last year and made the state nsw country side.

hey ron, i think when lil buzz says he's not running much, i think we'd both agree that he's still probably running a few km's more than anyone else, that boy does love to run.

chook, 1st of all id agree with you on ordinary-allen, and s.cook, but you'd have to agree that r.james, s.dew, b.james and j.francou are all a few steps above those two boys, and even one of those four would make a massive diff to any club (given they play all year that is). certainly s.dew on some of the smaller grounds, or the big ones for that matter, could be worth atleast 4-5 goals with a kick that big. wouldnt be suprised if he let himself go massively though.

also cant see ironbank winning a premiership any time soon. they always seem to recruit bigger slower players that win them the very odd game on a small oval, but without knowing for sure would assume that they havent beaten the likes of lobe, uri's or barker at their homegrounds.(shane russel) excluded from this, an obvious champion player. they do have excellent jnrs, as they have for a while now, but its time for them to start making a difference in the snr sides now. i know how frustrating it was for me at lofty having absolute gun players playing in the jnr and snr colts but very few continuing on to the snrs.

we won the snr colt premiership in 1998 and our side was called the best side in 20yrs. we now have exactly 4 players from that side, 3 if you include DA not playing this year. and i can assure you that we 3 were far from the star players of that side.

did have a good chat to a quality ironbank player who said he wanted to play with us this year and that he would train this week. would be very handy.

Loves to slot one... obviously you are not familiar with the team lists of hills football cos if u were u would be aware that the ironbank a grade is full of quality junior players including u17 mail meddalists, etc. Williams, Walter, Milosevich, Schneider, Thomas, Muirden, Adams, naughton, bawden, etc.. all these players 21 and under. So like lofty who had alot of quality juniors they only need some big rectuits to be a force. As sad as i am to say it Lofty did it very well and Ironbank im sure will try and follow the same path. Build through juniors. Shame Blackwood wont follow the same path by looks of things

GTS... would u have happened to talk to this ironbank youngster on fri nite at the pub?? the guy u were talking bout was quite liquored up as were we all... can confirm all present that night trained last night at ironbank.

and for whoever talked about corey smelt.... havent heard news on him. talks taking place with houser and graetz from tailem though! B+F winner and gun CHB i believe
