No sure where this info is coming from, however top three guesses would be
1. The coach that was there 3+ years and is butt hurt his previous 2 clubs made grand finals after being cellar dwellers when he ran the show and his wife was a paid canteen worker
2. Some moron who is listening to bullshit being peddled by another moron.
3. Some buffoon who doesn't understand that running a club comes with financial obligations to councils etc who are happy to take 20+ plus from non profits to use sub-standard facilities.
Do expect that they will go down the gurgler next year with the current execs (except one) stepping down. There is a reason why no one (head coaches included) are staying when they all know who will be taking over.
Who is taking over?
Why would everyone leave instead of intercepting the takeover if they know it will turn to shit?

No point intercepting when the most valuable assets have left - ie coach and key players. P & VP were constantly undermined all year, yet their hard work over the past three years is what's made this club a success. The coach (who has been the most successful for the club in history), saw the writing on the wall and wouldn't stay if the leadership changed. Half the board was shut out of key decision and conversations - including the president and vice president. Had a great option for a player/coach but failed to acknowledge his application because one of the players mummies doesn't like him. Didn't conduct post season conversations with players until it was to late and players had signed elsewhere, then sent them abusive messages because they dared to leave. Now telling everyone that the 2024 coach is stealing all their players - yet these players were only there because of the coach and came with him to start with.

Hearing there's some significant movement behind the scenes including an amendment to the APFL Constitution paving the way for the dismissal of the Owls.
Incredible development.

Why?
I'm not sure the AdFL would welcome them back to be honest..
