Can help you with some Cally stuff Navy 2005 but know nothing about Gummy. Posted some reliable info on Jan 9th which you might find useful. But here's one from left field. Very reliable source says Troy Bond will have a kick in the Eagles' A's this year. Apparently has a clearance and all. Hey I know this sounds pretty wild but if it happens it would bring back some of the credibility the club needs and more. Hope this one's true. Gotta a soft spot for Ueys.

Didn't know about the shenanigans at Onkas. We live a sheltered life in this neck o the woods! But he'd be hard pressed to top some of the kerfuffles over the years out Cally way, which account for at least 50% of the reason they've never finished higher than 4th in 12 years. Probably won't be the worst side in Div 2 this year though.

It will take more than these sorts of comments to bring the Devils unstuck.

It seems like everyone wants to make up rumors about devils leaving because they are unhappy.

Far from it. Those saying Devils boys are unhappy or this bloke or that bloke is leaving obviously aren't in the 'know'. But keep trying cos' it's keeping us all amused at goat park.

Flying fox- my spies tell me people at edwardstown happy to see the back of new black wood players Salievic, Carberry, Rowett etc as they were struggling in div 1 last year! Not sure of Hills comp but would think not much would change. Gigney in same boat-played a bit down at Pt Elliot/Goolwa the bloke is more interested in his golf than footy

Flyinfox,

Gigney is a great player. Not silky smooth or anything but is as hard as they come. I belive has played in the state country championships for Southern Districts before??? I know a few people who follow the Great southern league and reckons he goes well.

Anyone know the link to Blackwood and how he got to sign out there??

I think Gigneys age is the link- might also be a distance Glenelg link with a couple of the other new recruits

FF,

rumours or not, I would say that with every side in Australia, there would be players not liking their coach. Would not want to be a coach myself, as you can never please everyone being only 21 to play A's each week. You always get players that think they should be playing A grade as well that don't play.

Tough gig coaching, but I am sure grainger probably is going well considering the club won 3 premierships last year.

Down&out,

Interesting news on the ex-townies boys going to Blackwood...will watch with interest this year to see if they are past it. Was told salevic (or however you spell it) is too old and slow!! Heard any other rumours that we should know about...you know much about this Osborn bloke who left townies for SHOC's??
