i hate to say it but he's got a point,to have a good GF it needs to be played on a decent deck !! move it this week n let the holy centenery recover n have it in good nick for the GF, if not its going to be a muddy mess n a shit grand final ....but in saying that having a sloppy mess might help the roosters more in stopping the peckers run !

Heard this one last night, anyone confirm....

Remember that plastic cricket pitch that had all the problems at Mallee Park oval when they played. The pitch let grass come through the grids. The TCC have got hold of it and will play games at Ravendale on the main oval this season.
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

I know the draw has been done already panther, i dont think that was on the books even though Centenery will be unavailable for the first half of the season with water works being done.

Rumour has it the plastic pitch will be used on ravendale but for juniors only as it is too inconsistant to play senior cricket on. Not good enough for senior cricket but great for the kids to learn on

Couple of interesting stories on page 4 of the paper today.

M Bascombe   said......

The PLFL's attitude that Centenary was in competition with ravendale was 'lowering the level of football in the city"

Havent seen you at to many games to know what the level is like Mick.

I think the plan was to try it and see how it goes for the Colts T20 comp. If prepared properly they're not too bad to play on.

No PLCA matches on Centenary until mid Jan.

I would, but only if aged care was a priority and he fixed the potholes.

I doubt he could count on Jacks, Joe's or Billy'os vote
