Jackson Tansell has had a great year but my tip : Tom Ambrose
plays in the centre and is the engine room and delivers the ball to JT.
I hope the Souths supporters who had problems with their horns at 3/4 time last week
have managed to get them fixed, If they try that at this weeks game they might have to drive home
with no headlights.

If the ruckman got 1 week it must have been a pretty bad incident similar to a recent case that got 1 week.
Sounds like the ruckman got what he deserved!

There didn't seem a lot in the Sinclair incident to me but it was over the other side of the ground and my eyes are not that good these days

Interesting phone call from one of my Souths mates...

It seems Sinclair was found guilty of slapping Dodd "around the head area".

Dodd received no attention from trainers, took his free kick and Sinclair received a yellow card and went straight off.

Sinclair hasn't appeared at the tribunal for over 10 years.

The tribunal found "Sinclair's Love Tap" required the same suspension as Semmler, whose knock required a stretcher, and escort from the field and red card.

Conversation all seems to be about consistency, and it's lacking here...

I suppose it just depends which muppet you get to hear the case...

Goal kicking is obviously a matter of public record, so congrats to:
Dean Miller (u17 Mallee Park)
Sam Beare (u15 Boston)
Jackson Tansell (u13 Tasman)
on those trophies...

Now... tipping these winners, which I hope I am better at than I was the seniors...

17's... I think a couple of Wayback boys will be right up there, Ryan Kelly and Ziek Kay, maybe Orion from MPFC (though he could do a "Carl Semmler")... :D for the trifecta.

15's... the only question is, just like last year... Did William Roderick play enough games...? Last year he didn't- played 17's only, and young Lako snuck the award... This year, I think he's done enough... Missed a few in the middle, but I am confident he would have polled BOG in his last three or four games... The surprise will be who comes second, because there is a massive gap...

13's... The Goal Kicker, Tansell, from Tasman... Last year, Montgomerie from Boston won the goal kicking with 13 goals... Hardly a starring role... Tansell kicked about 30 and had the award sewn up the round after Mortlock... Junior umps (especially kid umpires) look at goal kickers, and he's my man... Walsh from Rangers is the only young dude that will challenge...

Lets hope I don't bugger this one up!

Well you already have buddy, Rory O'Brien from LSFC has won the u/17's goal kicking by one goal over Miller from MPFC, last game against MRFC wasn't put in the paper so they missed them that week when Rory kicked 5.7.

Onto the medals, Only commenting on u/17 but Lakin from Souths will poll very well but is ineligible due to a report(no suspension), The others from Souths will probably share the votes Bawden, McFarlane, and Dunn will all snag a few.

Mallee Park will probably donate the winner, likely names would be Betts, Coffin, or Sumner.

Tasmans will have a few that poll well, The most likely will be Josh Nisbett(a mini MJ if i have ever seen one), Others might be Schilling, Emery, and Ben Daniels should poll in the games he has played.

Waybacks probably didn't have any standouts except Harders before he broke his leg, Ryan Kelly might poll ok, but seems to play better at higher levels. Matt Holden may poll ok also. Zeik Kay probably didn't play enough games to be a worry for the medal.

Marble Range wouldn't have been given too many votes due to the number of games lost, but if anyone does poll it should be Ben Finlayson, he was handy in a few games against us.

With Bostons they have some good juniors in Hull, North and Shanley but Hull and North would have been playing seniors most weeks and with no wins on the board Shanley shouldn't be expecting too many.

Thats the best i can do, but i'm sure it won't be too far off the mark. unlike MP's

I don't care that I made a couple of mistakes, I'm just happy that there's a few people out there that take enough of an interest to know I got it wrong!!! :D

After hearing that media park the recent cases don't sound similar to me at all. Don't forget the Malcolm Miller dust up where he get off for landing 4 or 5 clenched fist punches. They must rate a so called 'slap' as an equal offence as running thru someone with their head over the ball or in Millers case even worse than landing 4 or 5 punches to someone who cant defend themselves as they were on the ground.
You are starting to win me over media park, where do I sign?

I can't see why last Saturdays games were not transfered to ravendale. Centenary oval is now rooted and will make a poor spectacle for the remained of the season. If it gets a reported 20mm more on it before Saturday then the Prelim should be transfered so the oval can recover for the big game.
If they play on it this Saturday and absolutly destroy it even more I suggest the PLFL play the grand final at ravendale.
