Rossco got a preview for the U/17 game tommorow. Most think that City are overwhelming favourites but I think the Pecker influence will give Districts the edge.

The 17's trained before our traning at poole. from what i saw it looked like it was just malle park kicking to them selves, not alot of team bonding by the coaches to bring the 3 teams together. i recon it will be Malle Park VS Lincoln City tomrrow, thats my opinion anyway! For districs sake i hope im wrong and they play as one unit and knock off city! ;) ;)

Lincoln Districts v Lincoln City Under 17's

Dont worry about Lincoln Districts... they easily have the talent and game to beat Lincoln City at this level. The Mallee Park boys use the ball so well, and are well serviced by big man Coffee. His ruckwork over the past couple of weeks has been fantastic for a kid of his age. He just brings players into the game and thats where Davey steps up. The pace thru the midfield will worry City and their goal kicking presence is just as concerning. Can Lincoln City holt the run of Districts - have they a back half capable of rebound and positive movement into their forward lines. Can City kick a score if supply is limited by the strength of the Districts midfield. Does Keeley play, or is he committed to the Under 18 Magpies - how many of the District boys made the League Under 25 side.....Districts look firm favoruites on paper to me, but I know that the City boys had a solid hit out on Wednesday night....All those questions will be answered @ 2.30 tommorrow - where you will see 50 of Port Lincolns finest Under 17 footballers doing battle.

It should be a great game and both sides will be looking for a win and possible advantage moving towards Kinlough...
